Ode to Multi-tasking

This post is mostly a pat on my back because after all if you don't pat yourself on the back sometime, then no one else will.
Today was a typical day at home for me and the kids. When I stopped for a minute to look back on my day I was quite impressed with myself about how well I multi-tasked. Here is my list of everything that I had going on towards the end of the day. I comforted a very upset baby Claire (I am still and trying to figure out what she was to upset about), tickled and played peek-a-boo with Quinn in between playing catch with Hayden, helped Jake stand up and jump, made banana bread, made dinner, did laundry, answered a phone call from Jeff saying that his car died... and that was just in about 20 minutes. It makes me tired just thinking about this, it is a wonder that I don't fall asleep typing this.
Anyway, I know that I am nothing special and every mother has her own ode to multi-tasking. We're moms what else would our kids/families expect.

i agree...20 minutes makes you feel organized and on top of things- 8 hours of it, however, makes you feel exhausted and overwhelmed. way to go. i will pat your back, also.

Thanks guys. I truely don't feel that I do anything special. I just do what any mom would do with multiple children.
