Reflections

The other day, I was talking to one of my co-workers and she asked how old the babies were now. With out a second thought, I said almost 6 months. Her next comment was, "Wow, you made it a half a year." Until she said that, I really had not thought about it but now, holy cow, we survived the first 6 months!
I really can't believe that the babies are all ready 6 months old. I can't believe how fast time goes by. Aside from the fact that I have no memory of the first 3 months of their lives besides a lot of crying (from both me and the babies), it has gone pretty well. I can't imagen life without the babies. I don't know what I would do with all my free time.
The babies just had their 6 month check up and our doctor is pleased and amazed at how well everyone is doing. They are right on tract with everything developmentally. They do all the stuff any 6 month old baby would do; sit-up, roll over, play with their toes (especially Quinn), babble, laugh out loud, smile, respond to their name and so on.
They are now all on the charts for growth and height, although Claire is just on but she is just going to be a small kid.
There are the latest numbers;
Quinn: 15lbs 11oz and 26.75 inches long
Jake: 18lbs 12oz and 26.5 inches long
Claire: 13lbs 13oz and 24 inches long.
There is just so much to be thankful for this Holiday season, I don't know where to begin. What a difference a year makes. Last year at this time, I was struggling with the fact that I was pregnant with triplets and how would I be able to handle it. And now they are here and we wouldn't have life any other way. Praise God!
