...that tubs of water will provide hours of entertainment for little kids no matter what the age? So save your money on all the latest and greatest toys and just put out a couple a tubs, buckets, bowls or whatever and let them go at it. They will get soaking wet but that it half the fun. For even more enjoyment and fun provide some cups, spoons and/or smaller bowls for dumping, splashing and spilling.
...one box of Mac-n-Cheese will NOT feed 6 people. It will barely feed 4 hungry kids. I think that we are in trouble.
...that it only take 5 minutes or less for 3 years old to start fighting. I have also learned that my son is a tattle-tail. I have yet to figure out how to explain to him to not tattle but do I really want him to fight back? I know that I better figure something out soon b/c I don't want to play referee for the rest of my life.
...if I stand still for more than one minute that there will be some one trying to climb up my legs.
...that 3 year old boys will not play nicely together unless it is close to nap time. Something happens that suddenly all the crying, whining and fighting that occurred just a few short minutes ago is forgotten and they are the best of friend with a world of games to play.
...muffins are NOT a good thing to give babies for breakfast. I am still trying to pick-up all the muffin crumb from this morning and I will add mac-n-cheese noodles to the mix. I wish that we had a bubble to put every one in when they ate that would clean its self and then be ready for the next use.
...that the above six things are what I have learned so far today. I think that it has the makings of a very interesting day.
