Nothing

Apparently there is nothing going on in the world of all the blogs I read. Life has just stopped for everyone. It seems like it has been forever since anyone has posted anything new. I am a little guilty of this too but not a guilty as my friend who has not posted anything since December. So I have decided to make a post about nothing. Hoping that this will inspire others to make posts as well.
When I think over our lives in the past week not a whole lot has happened but here are the highlights:
Our new nanny Kate started and I LOVE her. I wish that she could move in with us. She is a student at Calvin and can only be here one day a week now but will do more in the summer (I can't wait).
My favorites, Carly Smithson and Brook White, are still in the game in American Idol but it was a close call this week for Carly. She was in the bottom three. I hope that she steps it up this coming week. But don't worry Carly, I will still vote for you.
Quinn and Claire are standing on there own. Quinn even has tried to take a step instead of just throwing himself forward into my arms.
Jake finally has one tooth! It is a very slow moving tooth, it can only be felt and not seem. Claire on the other hand now has a total of three teeth.
The patient that I cared for at work on Friday had a drain placed in his abdomen and 4.5 Liters of fluid came out as soon as the drain was placed (It was kinda like an erupting volcano...cool). This may not mean a whole lot to any one in blogsville but it was pretty impressive with a lot of my co-workers.
During a trip to Costco today, we were checking out and the cashier said, "There must be something in the water because I have seem a lot of multiples." I was like duh you work at Costco. If there was any store that you would find a lot of people with multiples wouldn't it be Costco. I mean where else can you get such a good deal on formula and diapers and find enough quantity to feed all those hungry mouths.
Hey, I guess I did have some things to post about. Anyway, all our kids are just about in bed and Jeff and I are going to try and watch a movie and drink a little wine. I just hope that I can stay awake until the end.

Jen No news is good news. Nothing means no trips to ER, no major fights, and lots of calm all around. Good for you and Jeff! I'm glad you find time for a glass of wine and a movie. Love Mom
