Petting Zoo

We are really excited about the warmer weather and have been playing outside or going for walks a lot in the past few days. Today is no different even though it is not as warm or sunny as yesterday.
I sent Hayden out first so that I could get the babies ready without being climbed upon like a jungle gym. Hayden comes running up to the porch where the babies and I are and asks, "Why is there a petting zoo out?" I am first very confused by this question and then I realize that the play-yard is set up. I replied, "It is not a petting zoo, Hayden. It is a safe area for the babies to play in so they can be outside too." Hayden ponders this for a minute and says, "Mom can you hurry and put the babies in the petting zoo and push me on the swing?" Some days I don't even know why I try.
