The other day when Hayden woke up from his nap, he was not the most happy camper in the house and was crying in his bed. So I went up stairs to find out what was wrong. This is what transpired.
Hayden: "WAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!"
Me: "What is it buddy? What's wrong?"
Hayden: "WAAAHHH! My bhgfooohtt HURTS!"
Me: "What? Your butt hurts?"
Hayden: "WAAAHHH! My bhgfooohtt HURTS!"
Me: "What? Hayden, I can't understand you. You must calm down. Take some deep breaths and tell me what it wrong."
Hayden: "No! WAAHHHH! WAAHHH! My bhgfooohtt htgyufudrodts.
Me: What? Something hurts? What is it? Your butt? Do you have to go poopy? (I am grasping at straws here because I really have no idea what he is saying and he is getting more and more upset.)
Hayden: NO WAAAAHHH! NO (deep sobbing breath, trying to calm himself) My foot hurts! See there is BLOOD! WAAAAAHHH! (fall apart again)
Me: I am sorry that your foot hurts. Do you want a bandaid? Will that make it feel better?
Hayden: (sniffle) Yes! (sniffle, wiping tears away) Can I have chocolate milk too?
He walks out of the room to get the bandaid, leaving me very confused as to what just happened. Oh well, at least the crying stopped.

First...thanks for stopping by my blog...and I'm glad I'm not the only one...I could have a whole blog on just the things that irritate me about my DH...lol.
As for your own post...these days are all around...
Mom's have the best cures for what ails 3 year olds. Today my connection was fast and I finally got to see the header. Love the pics of the kids and the meds reminder. All cute!
I can so relate to this. So many of those moments where you have no idea what just happened but the crisis seems to have been averted. lol
Thanks for visiting my blog!
Do your kids know my kids?
