Thats So Random

So it has been raining for the fast few hours. It is ridiculous! This is not just a nice summer rain. It is raining buckets and its coming down in sheets. To make matter worse, I had to drive home in the rain storm. It was literally a white knuckle drive. My hands hurt when I finally pulled into the garage.
Oh and one more thing, it is not just rain, it is storming. I really, really dislike thunder storms. I don't know why, it is just one of those things for me. They scare me and have since I was a kid. Every time it thunders or I see lighting it scared the bejeezus out of me. I have had to climb down from the ceiling a couple of time. During a thunder storm is a time when I really don't like being a mom. I have to been strong and try and to impress my silly fear on the kids. But all I really want to do it run into my bed and hide with my head under the covers until it is all over.
