Even our Pancakes are Looking like Chirstmas

Two Christmas Trees, a Candy Cane and a Rocket Ship.
Loving made by Jeff.

I know what you are thinking, a rocket ship isn't very Christmasy.
And you are right but Jake is very much into rockets.
He makes everything into a rocket ship;
tooth brushes, markers, socks, spoons, pieces of bread.
He sees the world as one big rocket ship.

So he wanted nothing to do with Christmas pancakes.
Only a rocket ship would do.

Awesome! I cannot help but laugh, as Elijah is into rockets too! he draws EVERYTHING as a rocket as well! I am so used to seeing all his school work come home with rockets on them.
He writes letters to nasa with new rocket ideas Every SINGLE WEEK. We obviously have bright boys, huh?

Totally cool. Now you must share how it's done. Food coloring? Swirling with fingers?

That's really unfair, you know, showing us something so wonderful, so exciting, and then not showing us how to do it. I guess that means you are really inviting us all over for pancakes! Right?

My boys would be in hog heaven (how's that for southern) if you'd show me how!

I love ya'lls pancakes. Truly. I keep showing them to my husband, hoping he'll see it as a man-challenge. But no such luck. Humph.
