Dear Ice Cream,
I can not resist you.
You know my love for you is great.
Sometimes I wish that I could resist your siren song
but in the end it is just too strong.
I try to set a good example for my kids.
I have tried to show them how wonderful you are.
But they just don't listen.
They just don't seem to understand.
For they are just kids after all and I guess if you are still sleeping in diapers the call of a swing set is just to strong to over come.

But just so we're clear I plan to stop this abuse.I don't know how but this will not happen again even if I have to lick the table clean myself.
(Yeah, I am just that dedicated.)
Wordful Wednesday

Too funny!
Once my kids get to the cone, they are done.
Lots of ice cream wasting going on over here.
That might be the saddest picture ever.
lol! I don't think that would happen at our house! Anthony may put it down, but Madison would be right behind wanting to finish it!
hahahahaha!
So glad that you are willing to not let that cone go to waste--now that's recycling! ;o)
Blessings!
What a great and righteous cause:-)
The horror!
Such injustice!! I hope you set them straight soon... ;-)
They will outgrow that nonsense when they get to be adults...unfortunately. :)
Aidan doesn't like ice cream...can you imagine???
That is too funny.
We use bowls at our house, cones just always cause a mess. My kids have learned their lessons though, they lick their bowls clean :)
*gasp* That poor ice cream! How dare those children leave it to melt!!
Oh my!!!!! How sad!!!! I'm hooked on icecream and the cone...lol Actually my addiction is so bad that I got up this morning and drove to the store to see if they had my fav kind "peanut butter panic" but sadily someone got the last container...I know because their was one left on Monday when I was there, after I got my two pints(one for Mon and one for Tues)...so sad. I had to come home empty handed. I'm sure my diet would say thank you but my heart is just sooooo sad. Yes I'm addicted and proud of it.
I was never that child! Nothing was better than ice cream and I'm pretty sure there still might not be anything better, LOL!
Oh this is tragic! How could you allow this to happen? I am feeling the urge to go buy a cone just to make it up to the ice cream gods
What a sad, sad sight. :(
Oh my, that's just wrong...poor ice cream.
Thank goodness it has you.
Too funny! Despite my sweet tooth I have never been much of an ice cream fan. I prefer candy and chocolate but not chocolate cake or ice cream. The Breyers natural is pretty good though.
Oh that is a sad picture!!! It almost brings tears to my eyes to see that ice cream cone going to waste!!!!
LOL! Oh no, ice cream abuse.......
Too funny. Poor Icy Cream.
Great pictures. I'm calling the ICAH, the Ice Cream Abuse Hotline. No ice cream should go uneaten. No ice cream should melt away. No ice cream should be neglected. We do Baskin Robbins as a family every Saturday after dinner. Lil' D and I get mint, while the hubs hoards dark choc and peanut butter and choc mixed. We are not a pretty site afterwards. Lots of wipes are needed. Happy WW and take care.

kids!
I would have picked the cone up shook off any dirt(maybe) and ate it while they were playing:)
kids just have no respect, you know!
Oh do not waste that lovely ice cream! Oh the poor thing!
um...ice cream can't be a thing...I was distracted by it's melting image. Well...whatever. you know what I meant. The abuse! The Abuse!

What insanity! Who's kids are those anyway?!
Nooooooo! What a disaster!
Oh that poor poor ice-cream.... a very sad story indeed!!
hahahahaha Great tribute to your Friend, I. C. Love this WW post!
Brilliant!
If you need support with your cause, you know who to call...
hahaaa! i love it!! and man, that ice cream looks delicious!
Poor ice cream!
My kids have been known to abuse it too.
I am dieting and this picture inspired me to eat a root beer float. I think if I was there, I would have ate it off the table...so much for my diet today...lol
Poor sad ice cream cone! Too bad my EJ wasn't there! She is as good as a dog at getting the leftovers!
to forgive is divine. moreover they just little kids. you're such a dedicated mom. god bless.
LOLOLOL! Too funny - what a great picture you caught. We started using cones more, because there are never enough bowls or spoons!
did they just do that? but they're such innocent children. =)
LOL! I have not been brave enough to let my kids have an ice cream cone (although I don't think Jacob would even eat it - he's not a fan of cold stuff).
I don't think I could bare to see it go to waste like that! The tragedy!
I admit, I don't care much for ice cream, so that doesn't bother me. Leave PB out? Sick, sick.
That is abuse! My favorite has been chocolate chip mint for as long as I can remember!
LOL! Great post Jen. I too am a dedicated love of the ice.
That is so sad. Poor melty ice cream.
All my kids are the same way
I am not a huge sweets person and don't eat ice cream a lot BUT that cone you have pictured ther IS my FAV!!!! Soft serve vanilla on a regular sugar cone. Yum. I would eat one right now if it was here.
That brought a tear to my eye.
LOL! That would've gone perfectly with that funnel cake I was trying to convince you to eat ;)
