We are the proud parents of triplets and their big brother. We sometimes feel like we're buried with children. These are our stories from under the pile.
that is when i flip out wondering if the shelf is attached to the wall! sofie is trying this...and jk last week scaled 6 feet! what in the world!!! i have to say, jen, he is quite a cute little climber...so stinking sweet...and i love that you made him stay there until you got the camera...i totally would've done that!!
I am so right there with you! Cayden climed in the rocking chair yesterday and busted his head on the radiator! Did that stop him? NOOO! He climed on the toy box, the heater and was even attempting to climb up the entertainment center after that! AHHH!
His daddy climbed a bookcase when he was about that age--and pulled it over on top of himself! Many tears on his part and mine, as well as books everywhere!
your in for some fun times. I remember climbing the doorways with may hands and feet pressed against opposite sides. If I tried that now my wife would kill me. Oh to be a kid again.
I think you need to install a tracking device on each one of them, James Bond style! I'm thinking of having my little one microchipped, like we did the dog. Ok, you know I'm totally kidding, right? I would have freaked if I saw this!
according to my parents, I did this, except, I climbed the kitchen counters and Im told, *clears throat* tried to bake a cake on the living room floor!

Oh,NO!
All I can say is, God help you.
Climbing is great, it's the getting down that's the problem. Let's hope he doesn't teach the other two, right?

You have 3 options:
1. Put him in a bubble wrap suit.
2. Lay thick foam around the base of any possible climbing location.
3. Drink.
Scary!!!!
I had a friend whose son had to wear a helmet for a while because he was such a climber. hehe.

Ahhh yes - another reason I'm glad my kids are older!!!
Oh my goodness. I probably would have freaked for a second but probably long enough to scare the crap out of the kid and cause him to fall.
Kids just love when they can get to this point.... :-) Always have to keep us Mom's on our toes.
He looks so proud of himself!
Don't think of it as him being a climber - think of it in terms of a book enthusiast!
And I'm going with Maternal Mirth on this one, #3...
Em
I find Dottie in scary places too... I never had this problem with Graham... I can't turn my back on her!!
Wow, he's got guts!!!! My boy was never a climber. What's he looking for up there?
Oh BOY - he can climb!!
my youngest is a climber. a scary climber! I have to watch him much more closely than I did the older two!
let the bruises and head injuries commence!!
uh-oh...that scares me for what's ahead!

Wow. Imagine having three little cherubs climbing! Good luck to you Jen. Do you want me to pop over and lend an extra pair of hands?
Oh look out!
This is only the beginning.
holy moly. time to bust out the helmet.
Oh my god! Did you scream! I would have been laughing/yelling for him to get down.

I never had this problem with my girls... they weren't really much of climbers.
They were (and still re) more of jumpers-on-the-bed.
Oh, and I loved how, before you made him get down... you grabbed the camera and snapped a picture ;)
You definitely have a climber! Watch out from now on...little stinker.
oh yeah... so not fun when you find out your kid is a monkey.
welcome to my world.
Oh no...your life is over now:-( Good luck with that one.
Little man + No Fear = TROUBLE!!! Good luck! :-)
My son is doing that now too. Nothing is safe! Ugh...

hehehehe
You have your hands full with this trait!
Let the games begin!
Oh no! :) I just posted yesterday, you think they're being all good, nice and quiet, when...something like this happens, haha!
