We were on our way to church this morning and this lovely conversation took place.
Hayden: Why is God with us?
Jeff: God is with us because he loves us and wants be there for us to make sure that we are alright.
Me: Hayden, God is like a Daddy that is up in heaven watching over us. He loves and protects us and will help us when we ask.
Hayden: When I am in the forest surrounded by a bunch of bears, God will make the bears go away from me because I am scared of bears and don't want them to come near me.
Me: Yup, Hayden. I am sure that God will protect you from the bears.
Hayden: Mom, God is holy, right? Just like Sponge Bob?
