Ya know...we COULD just visit the places that have seasons and LIVE in the places that are 73 degrees and mild year round. ;o)

i have a love/hate relationship with the seasons. i love the changing weather, but sometimes i do wish we lived in a place with a sunny + warm climate year round. i have to say that my two favorite seasons are spring + fall. i love summer at the beginning, but towards the end it just gets muggy + sticky.
I too live where there are four seasons and it is so easy to wish the opposite during the long cold winter. But then the spring comes and that feeling we all get is unnamable. I wouldn't trade that for anything.
we get cold at winter, but not usually snow - which is why it's such a BIG deal when we do get some.
i really like all the seasons - mostly for the reasons you have pictured!
Way to go! You made me realize that maybe it isnt too bad living in the far north.

I live in a mild-all-year-round climate (central coast of CA), and I miss having defined seasons! My mom grew up on the East Coast and I grew up hearing about the changing seasons. I'll switch homes with you during Fall, it looks beautiful!

Yep. You could live in SE Texas where we have winter (a week), Springummer (a day) and TEXAS HEAT the rest of the time!

Just today I said to myself, I love this time of year. And I do. But I say that four times a year. At the beginning of every season, because they all have some pretty wonderful qualities.

Spring has sprung! Yeah! I wish I lived in San Diego with 70 degree weather year round but the seasons are nice. I can't wait to see the fall colors here on the east coast.
Trust me, the seasons really are overrated. Winter gets old, cold, and inconvenient after about a week. Spring is usually an awful mix of warm days and freezing days. Fall only lasts until a serious rainfall and wind storm, summer is awesome. For the first few years after we moved to the desert I tended to romanticize the seasons. After multiple trips home through the years I have learned to love this new semi-consistency.

You're lucky to have four seasons. Here in Vegas we have windy and hot as Hades.
Our change in the seasons are pretty mild. I something think it would be nice to experience real change......but all you snowed in bloggers have cured me of that desire. :)

I totally agree ... I love having four seasons! There is such good stuff about each one (thought summer could be just one month and winter too). And if you don't have four, you just won't appreciate the changes! Lovely photos!

Im my computer were working I would SO copy this cute idea!! I love all the seasons...I just wish they would stay in their respective time zones. Last I checked it wasn't supposed to snow in Spring...
I sooooo love summer. But you're right. If it were always summer, I don't think I'd appreciate it at all.
Spring is my favorite. It's just getting warm, but not too hot. Still gets cool enough for a light jacket. Everything is starting to turn green, the days are getting longer... I just feel renewed. :)
I thought I lived somewhere that had four seasons....but this year it's April and still snowing!!!!! My poor tulips. I am totally missing out on spring and I want to cry.
For the past 6+ years I have lived in places that only have 1 season... hot (summer-esque). I so totally miss the leaves falling off the trees, the brisk chill in the air, the need for sweaters and jackets, and then watching the flowers grow...
That is the wonderful thing about having 4 seasons. Each one is so distinct and beautiful.........such great shots!
