Please Let Me Take Your Picture

Nonna and Papa went to Disney for spring break. There were nice enough to bring back shirts for all the kids. To thank them, I thought a nice picture of all four kids wearing their shirts would be nice.

The Goal:

Get a nice picture of all 4 kids in their new Micky Mouse shirts.

The Results:

Mission sorta complete.

Why is it impossible to get a photo of all four kids? I have tried rewarding with chocolate or other special treats but they are on to me.
They see me come with the camera and they run.
Not good, not good at all.

I love it.

I think the photos turned out great, even if it wasn't exactly what you had in mind.

The T-shirts are great. And the pictures too. Now take the last one and photoshop Hayden in.

It's the age, I tell ya.

I have so many pics of Gabe at this age. The really great ones. Like the back of his head. A big blur where Gabe once stood. A hand.

You know, real quality photos.

It will get better. Eventually they'll be asking you to "take a pitcher!".

The bottom one is really cute :)

How true is that?! We were trying to take pictures of little ones this weekend and it was CRAZY!

All in all, you did a fabulous job!

Next time, tell them to take the 4 WITH them so mommy can have a break LOL! Never get great pics here either! HUGS FRIEND!

I think the "real" photos are much better than the staged "perfect" ones :)

Beautiful!!

If you ever figure out the magic solution, let me know! They look adorable anyways!

So cute.

I can't even get a decent picture of my TWO kids. Someone is always looking away or trying to escape.

I have the same problem. And I just have two. Who are much older. It never ends! :-)

I love that last picture...too bad it's not quite what you were looking for. It looks like Hayden was the hardest!

Those are better than any perfectly posed photo. Awesome.

I feel your pain. I have no luck either. I can't get both of my boys to cooperate for a pic together. I've given up. I'm lucky to even get a picture of Trevor facing the camera let alone one of him smiling. Some day...

Short of tying my kids to the sofa, I have never been able to accomplish this either, my friend. Kids are just too busy.

I typically tell family that our kids are much more fun "live". They don't need pictures. :)

LOL! I have exactly the same problem. I can't seem to get a good picture that doesn't involve high chairs. lol

Kids just can't sit still, that's the problem. It is their charm and their burden.

Too cute- at least it will be a great reminder of how they were.
I love it!

This is like trying to tame the wind!!! It can't be done!

And why did Nonna and Papa go to Disney and not offer to take all 4 kids while you stayed home and relaxed?

And just FORGET about a family photo!! Those never work!

almost - so close!

LOL! You now just need to photoshop them all together. heehee

Taking pics of more than one toddler.... UGH!

I gave up trying to take nice pics of the boys and just do 'action' shots now. Or I hand them our old camera. They actually take pretty good pics of each other, and their toys, and whatever is on tv, etc..

I also passed an award on to you if you would like to check it out. It's supposed to be for new blogs, but I'm the only new blog I know and yours is hilarious!

Ah yes. You forgot the sedative. Simple.

A tranqiliser gun works well too.

Or so I've been told.

I love the previous comment left...about the sedative...tranq. gun....is she an ICU nurse?...perhaps in a former life...except then you'd get the glazy eyes and medicated smile...and people would be on to you! :-)

When my kids were little I decided that these were the family pictures I was going to send to all the relatives that kept asking when we were going to have more pictures taken. I figured it wasn't letting them know how the kids really are if everyone looks perfect in a picture for a split second. lol

yea, I've only got 3 and I can't get a good pic of them all together. Even if they all happen to be looking at the camera at least 1 is crying!
