I do this, too. Only I was inspired by my 11YO, not Daddy. That's how my 11YO "baby-sits" :o)
my husband watches TV with them. We try not to watch too much TV but when daddy watches them that is what they get to do. I found out when I was getting ready to go to the store and my oldest (2.5) says "daddy, TV?" Busted.
hmm...i wonder if it would work for me. if so, i am on it.
Have to investigate this right now!

Oh my gosh that is so funny! Daddy really does now how to get out of watching them heh?! Some would call that smart!! haha!
Daddy's always take the easy way out...but dang it sure does work well!
Totally something my husband would do, and I'd be all eye rolls and then I'd do it the next time he wasn't around :)
Ha ha! Letting my girls watch Dora everynight at 5:30 is how I get dinner cooked:)
I'm impressed that he can actually get to all sit still, completely mesmerized by the video games. Have you seen the posts I've done when I've left my hubby in charge of the kids? Your husband far outranks mine in terms of good supervision!!

Holy cow! I just found your blog and I am awestruck by the possibility of living with 4 very young children. I think you will just stumble through and do the best you can. Someday you'll look back and wonder how in the world you did it.

It's not like we're sitting back filing our nails.
