This is How Daddy Watches the Kids.

Video games all around.
I think that he may be onto something.
I am so trying this.
Anything for a few moments of peace.

I do this, too. Only I was inspired by my 11YO, not Daddy. That's how my 11YO "baby-sits" :o)

my husband watches TV with them. We try not to watch too much TV but when daddy watches them that is what they get to do. I found out when I was getting ready to go to the store and my oldest (2.5) says "daddy, TV?" Busted.

Totally something my husband would do, and I'd be all eye rolls and then I'd do it the next time he wasn't around :)

Ha ha! Letting my girls watch Dora everynight at 5:30 is how I get dinner cooked:)

I'm impressed that he can actually get to all sit still, completely mesmerized by the video games. Have you seen the posts I've done when I've left my hubby in charge of the kids? Your husband far outranks mine in terms of good supervision!!

Be sure to stop by my blog when you have some time and check out the super fun art contest/giveaway I'm hosting, with 2 other bloggers, this week! I think your kids would have a lot of fun creating some art for the contest! And the prizes are fantastic!

Absolutely brilliant!

Way to go, Jeff.

So, all the laundry was done when you got home, right, Jen? 'Cause clearly he had lots of time on his hands...

Holy cow! I just found your blog and I am awestruck by the possibility of living with 4 very young children. I think you will just stumble through and do the best you can. Someday you'll look back and wonder how in the world you did it.

And plug in a little time for you every now and then....

I hear you. Anything for some peace so you can -you know- cook, clean and pee once in a while.

It's not like we're sitting back filing our nails.

We're just asking for some time for housework and basic ablutions.

We'll file our nails when the Nest is Empty.

definitely seems like a good idea as long as the games don't make 'em even more crazy-hyper-nuts. :P

That's not how you watch kids? Then, why do they make those things? Hee, hee, hee.

It's frighteningly effective!

Hahaha! I love it! They look completely intune with the video game!

Even your itty bitties can play video games? My, that makes me seem VERY inept.

They look entertained!

What a cute pic and totally paints an "aha!" moment for me! ;p

Haha, that's awesome. I think entertainment like that is okay as long as it's in moderation :)
