Lately, Hayden loves this saying "You are totally FREAKING me out!" He says it all the time. He sometimes uses it correctly and sometimes not so much.******
Well its not fine with me if he sleeps, dear Hayden because if he sleeps in the car then he won't sleep during nap time and mommy needs nap time.

I got a pedicure today. I love pedicures. They are just so fun and relaxing and make my toes look so pretty and I am not the only one that thinks so.

For the past couple of weeks, I have been so tired. I think it all stems back to my girls night that I had almost 3 weeks ago now. I know, I know, pitiful really but I just can't drink and stay up late like I used to. Any way, I had had enough with being tired. So instead of going out when my babysitter came over on Monday, I took a three hour nap. Thats right I paid someone to watch my kids so that I could sleep and it was beautiful.******
For a while now, Hayden has not been taking naps. Which is fine because he still spends time in his room resting quietly. Well, when he is at school aka day care, he usually takes a nap. I don't blame his teachers for wanting a break and school morning are really early but you know what, I don't want Hayden to take a nap (I never thought I would say that). When he naps he is up until 9 or 9:30pm. And I am sorry but if you are under the age of 30, I don't want to see you anymore after 8pm. Love you but Good Night!******
We live in the woods. It is a really beautiful place to live. I like it, I really do expect for this time of year. Because this is when the misquotes come out. I am one of those lucky people that misquitos just love to bite. Its like I am misquito marijuana or something. Those little bugger just have to bite me. And I am super allergic to the bits. And I am an scratcher and I just have to scratch! It is not fun, people not fun. This time of year, I have to wear bug spray like body spray to keep my legs from becoming something from a slasher movie.
******
I am leaving you with this. Just because I like it and think its pretty.

I love your blog farts :) OK maybe that sounded a bit gross. But they are fun to read. and your pedi looks like it was really refreshing.
I have left you an award on my blog :)
Love the idea of Hayden saying, "You are totally FREAKING me out!"
Anna is playing with Nat's Buzz Lightyear a lot, and she's saying cute stuff too: "I Buzz-Year. I come in peace."
Also, if I start with, "Our mission is to rescue..." she says, "Our Little Green Friend." Too cute.
Poor guy...I hope his fever is better.
Yep, nothing is better than a pedi!
Oh, and Jack will say the freaking out thing too...cracks me up every time!
I would totally pay somebody to watch my kids while I slept. I need to find a sitter.
Pedi's are the best thing in the world. I love them.
That was a beautiful picture to end with...and the toes are purty too!
I'm hear you about taking naps...I love Sundays for that very reason.
That's so cute that your kids are digging your toes!
I have to say it though...it's not misquote that is biting ya, it's a mosquito. But I totally wasn't giggling over the idea that you are like misquote marijuana..although I could totally see some little bugs buzzing around saying "That was taken TOTALLY out of context dude!" ;o)
Blog farts...LOL!
Funny. And...not so much
Wow, hope you recover from you GNO soon!

Seriously, at night - if Hayden will do it, put him to bed at 8, then tell him he can stay awake in his bed "reading" or looking at books or coloring, whatever, until you come up to kiss him goodnight. That way he will still be occupied and quiet and not in your line of sight.
Might as well try it, right?
I love all the napping references. Yes, Mommy needs a nap, and yes, I'd totally pay someone to watch my kids so that I could nap.
When I grow up, I seriously want to be a professional sleeper.
Hope your boy gets better soon! Poor kiddo. I am with you on the bed time! During the week both my girls go to bed at 8, mommy needs some quiet time. On Friday and Saturday I let the oldest stay up until 9 because I usually go to bed later anyway. But oh there are some nights I wish I could put them to bed right after dinner!
Poor quinn and his rosy cheeks
I hate it when the kids fall asleep in the car too. It's almost impossible to get them to fall asleep. And if they are sleeping I want to be using that time to sleep or relax, not be driving.
You could try putting your son in his room but letting him read or play quietly before going to bed. Then he gets to stay up but you get peace and quiet. That's what i do with my toddler and it saves a lot of fighting and gives her a chance to calm down
Fun post...cute toes and I love the last picture!
Sorry about the squitos though:(
I am going for a pedicure tomorrow so be prepared for some pics!
I am thinking I might just pack my suitcase and not come home........
With feet kissing like that you are clearly the queen of the castle.
I LOVE the picture of the kiddos check out your toes! LOL!
love the blog farts!!
I totally agree with how great pedicures are...I love a massage too but I think pedicures are almost better...tough decision!
Poor Quinn..hope he's feeling better!
My 3 yr old niece has started saying "You have GOT to be kidding me!"... she says it all. the. time.
I so need a pedicure.
I love naps.
Mosquitoes do NOT like me.
Poor Quin's cheeks are SO red!!! I just want to squeeze him.
And I am that daycare provider who will refuse to let your child stay up during nap time. It's kind of funny how when it comes down to it, both of us just want a break from the kids. :) Why can't they just sleep when we BOTH want them to sleep!?!
OH and LOVE your workshop post!! I have to step back sometimes too and be like "you know what, my kids need me to interact a little more right now" and you're right, it makes all the difference in the world. :)
Oh gosh yes, the 4 year olds and naps. Mine needs hers but seldom takes them. We can choose at the nursery school if your child has to nap or not. Ask them. I agree, bedtime is before 7:30 (in our house)
Oh poor little boobala. His cheeks are so pink. I hope he's doing better! That last photo is very pretty, you're right!
Poor Quinn!
Beautiful toes!!
Great random thoughts! I hope Quinn feels better.
Gabe's latest saying is "What the freakin' heck?"!
He and Hayden would totally hit it off, I just know it!
I am with you on the early bedtimes. Ours is 8:30p on school nights, even with the older two kids. I NEED that time in the evening!
Are those pear tree blossoms, or apple?
I h-e-a-r-t pedicures and pretty pics!
