You are kidding, right?

There is payment involved with the job you are describing?

Dang! I have got to get myself a new gig!! I haven't received a dime for the work that I am doing. :)

Were they trying to make their own coffee?? how cute are they?!

Does the job also require preventing the dread "we got our hands stuck in the cookie jar" effect?

I wish I had one of these for when my kids were really little. I wouldn't have consumed so much stress wine...

It's truly devastating when that out of reach spot becomes within reach :(

(they are cute though!)

I have tried that job. I failed.

If only mommies got paid for being mommies.

I am definitely NOT applying for this job. I can barely take care of myself. But I admire all of the mothers out there who do this and so much more every day for no pay ---but then the rewards aren't monetary are they?

I love your wanted ad. It's great, Mama Kat does such a wonderful job with her writing prompts. You did a great job, too.

Ah, the elusive out of reach spot. I miss it. Sadly, the only spots that are out of reach anymore are also out of MY reach.

I see two future bloggers there!

I always wanted to hire someone to get the Legos out of the toilet...the VCR...the heating vents; but especially, the toilet. Who knew those blocks could clog it up beyond use?

"personS" - plural - cracked me up!! if "mom" was a job description, the pay would be incredible!!!! but i'll take the hugs and kisses :)

Non climbing kids are just so boring. Is that your laptop they're going after?!

Oh no they didn't!

Love your drawer pulls. :-)

We removed our barstools for awhile because of just this sort of tom-foolery!!

The climbing stage is truly an adventure.

Let me warn you of one thing... My twins used to climb each other to get things. As in one would bend over and the other would step on her back like a stool and climb up, and then the one who was already up would pull the other one up to her. They actually climbed up into a BOOKCASE like this once.

Just because there is no stool doesn't mean they won't use each other :)

That is so cute!!

Haha! That picture makes me fear for the laptop's life. It looks THIS close to being knocked to the floor. Gotta love mischievious little boys. :-)

Haha! I'll come do that if you want to come to my place and handle the nose picking and eating problem we're having lol. Fair trade, no?

Perfect photo as they eye the outlet and plug! I recently began to push things back from the edge of the counter, and only yesterday my toddler began to drag a chair over to the counter with our knife block set in the back. Sigh, soon my counters will be clear of everything; maybe that is a good thing as it will help my kitchen appear clean and orderly!

Hope you can get someone hired soon!

Thanks for providing ear plugs. I love the photo. kind of gives you an idea what you're in for.

Oh no I am dreading that day...right now he just physically pulls himself up on the counter...that's bad enough!

I can only wish I got paid for that all day long. It sure would make it seem less tasking. LOVE that you provide ear plugs for the protest!!

Good idea to send a picture of the job description along with the ad. Weeds out the intimidated!

Oh no! NOT THE LAPTOP!!! Here kids take a cookie...

Jessica said...

OK, now that. takes talent! I wonder if balancing on the counter tops like that will help tone my butt...

Liz Mays said...

Who could resist those little skittles?

Fiona said...

Oh, and when they are done sorting your kids out can you send them over to my place for a while....

Caitlin said...

oh I am so, so sorry that they are doing that. I feel you, I really do. (Divided by 3 of course)

What a fun photo! I actually already have a job like that!

Susan said...

Hate to say it, but I don't think many can afford a payment that high. That's why mommies work for free.
; )

Yep. Kainoa would fit RIGHT in at that house. Although we might have some alpha male issues...this is my favorite help wanted ad so far.

I mean....it's the only one I've read as I've just started my rounds, but still. It's great.

Momma@Live. Laugh. Pull your hair out said...

Notice it is the boys doing the climbing?

My boys do the same thing. Except they actually stand on the counter.

I finally moved all of their dishes into a low drawer so they can get them without any climbing.

Now they find other things to climb.

I think I'm more than qualified. Where should I send my references?

Jenners said...

With that photo, you're going to attract tons of applicants!!! So funny...and so not funny at the same time!

FranticMommy said...

If you find someone to fill the position let me know if they have a twin. I could use one too. :)

I think I was fired from this job before.

Helene said...

Would I need references? Because I'm not so sure my kids would give me a positive review!!

Oh, would I get vacation days and sick time??? Personal days? Yeah, that's probably pushing it a little, huh?

Oh gosh - I have the same problem!
