I love being a mom, truly I do. And I think that one of the best things about being a mom is watching your parents as Grandparents. It just makes me heart happy.

Those pictures are so precious. They brought tears to my eyes. We have no "Papas" left in our family and that is a hard thing. You are very blessed.

Isn't that the best though? I have a much better relationship with my parents now as they are grandparents than when they were parenting me. I guess they'll never stop parenting me but I did stop being a child and that made the world of difference.
Many of our children's most precious memories are with their grandparents. I'm thankful for that!
My kids' grandparents are all too old for horsing around like that... and just not much fun in general...

Too cute! I love watching my boys with their grandparents. It is SUCH a special thing. I didn't get to see my grandparents much growing up, so it is SO important to me that my boys get to live near both sets of grandparents. Just can't beat that time!
I LOVE to watch my daughter with her grandparents, too. I have to say, though... poor Papa!!

I know parents become different people when they become grandparents. It seems that there are different rules if any rules at all. They become children again. I love it.

Oh, I absolutely could not agree more. Watching how happy our kids make our parents is really one of life's wonderful gifts.

papa's are the best...my dad watched the girlies while i went to p's grad/recognition today. in 2 hours, they had driven the barbie jeep, taken walks, eaten 2 suckers, then breakfast and had a snack....of chips!
I love seeing my dad with my son. He enjoys it so much. He hasn't had a lot of time lately, but when he does, he loves it. these are great photos and a great post.
I love seeing my parents with my boys. I don't know what I would do without them, and not just because of the free babysitting! I love to see them snuggle and laugh and get spoiled by Nana and Bumpa.

The boys look so cute in their "dressed up" clothes. Sweetness! And yes, I LOVE seeing my parents as grandparents. My dad especially. He's such a softie even though he tries to pretend he's the grumpy ol' grandpa!

These are wonderful pictures! Even though I haven't made my parents 'grandparents' yet...I am already just tickled pink thinking they might have that opportunity soon and knowing how wonderful they will be!
