Me: "Hayden are you excited about starting Kindergarten and going to your new school?"
Hayden: "Yeah. It will be so cool. I get a new teacher, I get to ride the bus but......"

".....but sometimes, I get scared."
Oh if he only knew just how scared and unsure his mommy is.
It will be alright, my sweet boy, we will do this together.

Glad to have found you thru SITS. I'm following you on twitter now & networked blogs.
Love the photo of the liver pancakes. It is easy to see the children are learning from it.
I hope Grandma B is doing OK.
I hope everything runs smoothly on his first day. And on your first day, just stay busy:-)
I just went through this this morning with KiKi...only she left me in the dust and didn't look back. *sigh*
I keep forgetting Hayden is older than Maggie. He'll have so much fun! Maggie adores preschool and will start her 2nd year this Thursday. She talks about Miss Amy all the time and she hasn't even started yet!!
What a sweetheart! I'll bet he has a great first day!
Stopping by fro SITS to say hi; hope you'll do the same.
Aw! What a sweetheart! I know he's going to be just fine, but I'm sure it's a scary thing for him and you! Hang in there. (I have four more years and I know I'll be scared too!)
*sniff sniff* Everyone will get through this wonderfully! Take lots of pics!
Good luck tomorrow Hayden! I think you'll do great!
oh wow, how sweet is he. That made even my mommy heart just skip a beat!
Ah...out of the mouths of babes! It brings back memories of the first days of school all over again. Such a sweet babe!
You can tell him lots of kids all over the world just did that last week, and they're fine. (My son is.)
And being scared is ok, buddy. :)
Oh how that hurts my heart!
He's going to rock. And so are you brave Mama.
Awwww, he's so sweet. If he only knew how scared you are, too, right?? I hope he has a great first day at school (and I hope you have a good day too!)
Awww! He'll LOVE it!
You'll both be fine. :)
Awwww, good luck to your little man tomorrow. He'll be fine. You- well you better grab a bottle of wine and tissues lol
Okay, breathe.... in.... out.... you can do it. you can do it.
You'll miss him and he'll miss you. But it's the first day of the rest of his schooling. You can do it!
OH, what a sweetie! If only he knew how you feel, right? I'm the same way... cannot believe my baby boy is starting kindergarten next week!!! I'm seriously all anxiety...
Aww, he will be just fine, and so will you.
Have you made a special plan for the two of you for after school? I can still remember my mom waiting on the front porch for me, and we went to the library and got "Fox In Socks" and then went to my favorite restaurant for a meal. I have tried to make the very first day of school a memorable one for my kids. Maybe the planning would take your mind off of the anxiety...
Good luck, to the both of you.
Awwww so sweet and heartbreaking. It's okay if you cry all day...I did.xxx
Good luck to Hayden and to Mommy!! Can't wait to hear all about his first day!
You can tell him that sometimes us Teachers get scared, too!! :-)
Aw, those 1st-day-jitters for both of you are normal... but I'm sure once he gets to school, he'll be fine. And so will you!
What an exciting time for him. And you! Good luck, mama!
I'll be thinking about you on Aidan's first day tomorrow! If you need to talk (or get out a little cry) give me a call! Or you can send my a weepy text...I'm OK with that too!
Ah - so sweet. And I know how he feels. I get scared all the time.
Ok......this is the sweetest post ever. Seriously.
Oh Jen, how sweet. The Little Miss just saw the picture and asked what Little Man C is doing on the computer.
Oh that is sweet. If he can express it like that, he will be just fine.
Wow, your little boy too huh? I can't believe they're in kindergarten already. My son is loving it up thank GOD!!!!!!!!!! It's been 2 weeks and everyday I am still weirded out when he just gets out of the car to go sit in line. I am not used to that and always walked him in to his pre-school. I don't know how you do it with him taking the bus though. THAT I wouldn't be ready for.
