In my travels around the blogosphere, I have seen more than a few post/pictures of a certain man. I have read post about women gushing over him, about how gorgeous and hot he it. I have even seen women devote whole blogs to him. But frankly, I don't see what all the fuss is about.
So I ask you, what is so great about Robert Pattinson?
I don't get it and in fact, I don't really think that he is all that good looking.
Maybe its because I refuse to see the Twilight movies. Maybe its because, he looks nothing like the Edward in my head. Or maybe its because, he is just not my type. I don't know but I do know that he just doesn't do it for me.
Now before you all go and vote me off out of the blogosphere or unfollow me (please, please don't). Here are a few Hollywood men on my list.

I will give you Johnny Depp. He is pretty yummy...although some of his movies are just freakish. Seriously, what was up with his Willy Wonka! But as for the rest of your list, they are not even in the same league as Edward, I mean Rob Pattinson. (I think that might actually be the draw...I don't see him as some british actor named Robert. To me he is Edward, the only vampire I would leave my husband for!) :) See the movie!

I can not understand that craze. At all. But wait, i'm still drooling over johnny depp! No comparison.
I don't understand it at all, not at all.
But, Johnny Depp, he is THE perfect man.
Johnny Depp - Oh, yes! I remember when I first saw him from the first Nightmare on Elm Street and then again the first time I spotted him on the promos for 21 Jump Street. I tuned in for the debut of the show and that was all she wrote. From that moment on I have be completely in love with him. He is Mr. Hottie #1! Even as he ages he has kept his sex appeal. He has the highest drool factor for me. The others on your list are OK too but thank you for placing him in the #1 spot. As for Robert - I have seen the Twilight movie and read all the books and I am anxiously awaiting the 2nd movie in the series. I love them all and admit to being caught up in the whole Twilight craze. However, I do not think Robert is all that and a bag of chips. My biggest problem with the movie was actually casting. He is NOTHING like I imagined Edward to be.

You know, Legolis was my favorite character in LoftheR and when I found out it was actually Orlando Bloom I was just so ticked off. I didn't have a problem w/ Orlando before then. (I know, totally irrational.)

Sometimes I think I am the only one not swooning over him. He isn't bad looking just doesn't do anything for me. He definitely has the "vampire" look so I understand why they cast him but he is not the Edward I pictured in my head when I read the books. Frankly he simply isn't hot enough. I pictured super model hotness when reading the books and Robert Pattison just isn't that for me. In defense of the directors I think they did an amazing job casting and everyone else is about spot on. Kristen Stewart is exactly as I pictured Bella and Jacob, Alice, Jasper, all as I pictured them. Carlise and Esme are a little different than I pictured them but I think right on as described in the book if I look back.
Robert Pattison is just not hot enough to be Edward for me.
After reading everyone's comments I have to add my two cents to the hottest celebrity question.
Johnny Deep is hot but he creeps me out. It seems like the past few years he has played the weird characters, Willy Wonka, Captain Jack Sparrow.
My all time celebrity hottie is Josh Duhamel. I think he is less known but from the show Las Vegas now married to Fergie :-(

Y'know the "5 people" list on Friends that Rachel and Ross made? Well, my husband and I have a list like that too. Or, more accurately, I have a list and he is okay with it. He claims he's not interested in other women. Whatever.
But, spots 1-5 are all reserved for Matthew McConna-hotty. That's what I call him. That's even what Texan Papa refers to him as. I love everything about him... the messy hair, the goofy smile, the HOT BODY, the fact that he's from Texas. I don't care if he's in a crappy movie or if he marries some other woman (slut!) or if his political beliefs don't match mine (I don't even know because I don't care). As the saying goes... I wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating crackers... unless I wanted to do him on the floor! ha ha

and I agree on the Edward thing. I haven't read or seen any of the vampire stuff. I'm not remotely interested. But if MM was in the movie I'd probably BUY the DVD.
Oh we have the same taste in Hollywood men! I also like Sean Connery even if he is a 100 - he just sounds so sexy and Johnny - ah, man! (He looks his best in Chocolate I think).

Robert Pattison: I liked him better when he was in the Harry Potter movie as Cedric. Now, eh, not so much.

Hey this was an awesome post! On a day when I am feeling a bit under the weather it totally made my day to see some yummy guys and read all the hilarous comments. Especially TexasMama's PG-13 comment - mostly because that was exactly what I was thinking!
I like your list, although I'm crazy about Orlando. Anyway as for Robbie, I like the character that he plays much more than him. It took me a while to warm up to him in that role, but once I did I could totally see it.
However he lost a little of his luster when he was on the Today Show with wild, wacky, durrrty hair last year. Ewww.

One day I was passing a news stand and DiCaprio's name was there in huge letters. The final letter was partially obscured by another publication on top, turning the 'O' into a 'C'.
