The Circus.
What a wonderful place.
Where else can you see,
an Elephant painting a picture,
a motorcycle on a tight rope,
clowns being silly with bubbles,
a lady twisting in the sky by her hair,
a man that can sit on his back,
animal right protesters,
and eat a sucker as big as your head?
I guess they weren't kidding when they called it 'The Greatest Show on Earth'.

Can you believe it, at the age of 40 I have never been to a circus. My dad refused (animal lover) and now Hunter refuses to take the kids (he is such a big greeny). Glad you guys enjoyed it.

Going to the circus seems to be a thing of the past here. It is very rare if one ever comes our way.
We have cousins who are circus performers...maybe you were at their circus! The whole family is involved...they do high wire and uni-cycle acts.
We took Jack to the circus a few years ago and had a blast...I can't wait to go again!
I remember going to the circus when I was younger- I always loved it! I never got one of the huge lollipops though! ;)

I am not a big fan of the circus. Clowns...they scare me. Eek!
But, I will admit, the way you describe it it sure does sound like fun!

My kids haven't been to a circus yet... I might just have to change that.
My kids have never been b/c my husband doesn't like the circus!! He thinks it's cruel..I'l have to sneak them to one!!
I used to love the circus when I was little. And I still love gianormous suckers!
My girls always loved when the circus came to town. They would have killed for one of those suckers too!

great pictures. we took lil' D to the circus last year. he had a great time. first time i ever payed 12 bucks for cotton candy, but we had to have that wizards hat. i do feel bad for the animals though. i want them to be free. happy WW and take care.

Holy crap that sucker is huge!!! I remember getting a sucker like that when I was a kid and I'l lick it so much my tongue would get cut!

Wow, I am surprised by some comments some never been or are against. but hey, that's what makes the world go 'round. We took Tristan last year and he enjoyed it.
fun! i'd love to take my kids to the circus but i'm entirely too scared of clowns!! maybe i can just buy them a sucker and call it good!
Kaish and I and the neighbor went to the circus last year and had the most marvelous of times : ) Such fun. I didn't buy the suckers but I did buy flashing swords!

I would love to go to a real circus... The ones that tour the Caribbean always seem a little seedy, and I can always imagine the animals escaping! :-)

i love the circus... so bummed it doesn't come to my neck of the woods.... though i'd be a bit scared if it did! that lollipop is fantastic - my kids would seriously eat that until they puked.

I went to the circus when I was, oh, five? It's been awhile.
Next time take the sucker as big as your head and beat the crap out of the protesters. The circus rules.
