Take Me Out to the Ball Game

The plan was simple; take the kids to their first ever baseball game.

The execution went beautifully.

The weather...

Rain

So what are you suppose to do at a rained out baseball game?

Well, eating ice cream is always a crowd pleaseer.

But make sure that Mommy gets the biggest bite.

Then run off all the sugar induced energy in the rain.

The perfect family outing.

Tough break with the weather. You are so brave - I would not even try this.

Any time there's ice cream there's good times. Period.

I've never had a game rained out. Your tickets are good for when they re-schedule right or is it just cancelled?

I bet they had more fun than if the game had actually been played!

I was reading your blog before going to bed lat night, and ended up having a dream that I met you and your children. They were adorable.

I do hope that doesn't sound creepy. It wasn't creepy. Just cute!

Ice cream makes everything better.

That sounds much more fun than actually watching a baseball game!

I'd go for the ice cream, too. Sorry about the weather, but the ice cream sounds great!

I'm glad you had fun anyhow. I went there once when they first built it and had a great time too!

It's a bummer though when soccer games do NOT get rained out. We all just get soggy.
