A Fishing Tale

Hayden: Hey, Grandpa What ya doin?

Hayden: Fishing, huh? Can I try?

Fishing, Fishing, Oh, what fun it is.... wait, hang on.

I gotta pee.

Alright, all better. Now back to fishing, fishing.
Oh what fun it is..... fishing, fishing.
I think that I got one!

Claire: Look! Look! Hayden. There's a fishy!

Hayden: Look at my Fish!

Hayden: Do you want a turn now, Claire?

Claire: Oh I don't know. Isn't fishing just for boys?
Fine I'll try. Daddy help me?

Claire: Now, Jakey's turn.

Quinn: Look, Look! Look fishy.

Claire: Are you going to touch it, Quinn?
Quinn: No!
Claire: Me either, yucky fishy.

All: Let's just watch Grandpa fish.

Jake: I wonder where Nemo is?

That's lovely! They seriously caught fish? Wow. I've only ever caught a hackly ole catfish, and thrown the sucker back.

I think Helene's kids from "I'm Living Proof..." beat Nemo over the head with a steel pipe. You might want to have a chat with her about that!

And his little butt is so cute I could just pinch it!

Giggle. We often stop what we are doing outside to pee on a tree too. It is fun to have boys. I love fishing but I don't touch the fish either...or the bait.

Nothing cuter than an outside pee!

Just ask my neighbors :-)

And seriously, when did they all get so big?

That's the best fish story I have ever heard:-)

ha ha! Too cute! And I love the pants down at the ankles....Jack still does that too! When will they learn to just whip it out!?

SO CUTE! We haven't taken Moose fishing yet...we probably should.

Very cute! Maggie talks about wanting to go fishing, but we haven't taken her yet. She did ask one fisherman if he was trying to catch Jonah!

Look how clean they all are, next to all that mud and water! Gabe would be diving in, clothes and all.

So, did you eat any of them, or just throw them back?

Sorry, Jake, but we ate Nemo for dinner last night.

My 6 year old caught a fish a few weeks ago, and now all he wants to do is go fishing, talk about fishing, and plan to go fishing. Apparently it's addictive!

Very, very cute! It looks like it was even better in person. The butt shot is my favorite!

Oh, see now I'm feeling so bad. Your fishing post is all sweet and cute and mine was just about my insane kids beating a fish they caught over the head with a steel pipe. I suppose I should be worried, right?

This was the cutest post...I totally loved the "I gotta pee" shot. Boys have it so easy, don't they??

Haha that is sooo cute. The hubby took my boys fishing at the start of summer and of course they peed everywhere but the bathroom while they were camping. Coming back home it took about two days for them to get out of that habit. Neighbors thought it was hilarious though....

Oh that peeing shot is hysterical. I have a few of Tristan like that. For later in life when I need to bribe him.
