What a Good Doggie Daddy!?

We have some new additions to our family.
No, we are not having a new baby, despite my previous post.
These new additions are all about Hayden.

He has become a Doggie Daddy.....

Meet Biscuit and Bingo.

I was informed a few days after their arrival that it was their Birthday
and
we needed to celebrate.

Happy Birthday Biscuit and Bingo!

I guess all the Birthday partying took its toll because the next day, Biscuit and Bingo were sick with a cold.
But don't worry, their Daddy took very good care of them.
They were tucked into their 'sleeping bed' to watch movies all day.

There are so lucky to have such a good Doggie Daddy.
He is is quick to rescue them from little hands.
He takes care of them when they are sick
And he loves them so much.

I am happy that Hayden is such a good Doggie Daddy, really I am.
But if I have to run through the house frantically searching for Biscuit or Bingo one more time while I listen to a hysterical Hayden crying about how he can't go to sleep without them.

I just might just loose it and tie those dogs to his ankles or maybe even staple them to his shirt.

But other than that, I love Biscuit and Bingo too.
They really are good dogs.

So cute. He'll be a great daddy someday.

I love my little man "cares" for his toys.

LOL! My two have about 50 bears that they think they need in their bed on any given night. The next night its their baby. Or their Gorilla or their...I can never keep up and they don't seem to know what they 'need' until they are in bed and lights are out! agh!

What wonderful mess free, headache free additions to your family. The class guinea pigs arrived a few days ago. My son has wanted to hold them every five minutes. My dogs have wanted to eat them for snack. I just hope I can keep them alive 'til school starts. Fingers crossed. Happy WW and take care.

Is someone telling you that they want a real doggy?

I think I might have a couple dogs I could mail to you if you interested?? :)

It really is a doggie day isn't it? ;)

My boys are doing the exact same thing with their stuffed dogs. Wish you lived closer we could get all the dogs together and have quite a time!

Wish I would have thought about this when the dudes were beggin me for a dog, then maybe I wouldn't have had to spend 4 months looking for a suitable adoptive family for the psychotic dog we temporarily called a pet. Totally learned my lesson!

Too funny and too cute! Was that a pillow sham they are tucked into to watch the movies? What a great idea on his part!

Love and Prayers,

Tim

Hi Jen! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I laughed when you wrote how you had to look for the sweet dogs before bed.. but hey at least they don't have to be taken outside during the day. To um.... well you now. lol!

Low maintenance dogs, and cute to boot!

That is so cute! Jonathan has no interest in stuffed animals. Only superheroes! I want to cuddle these doggies myself!

Adorable... enjoy it while you can! These days will be gone before you know it! I think of all the animals and dollies my children nursed and took care of over the years ... now in a box in the garage! Sniff ...

How sweet.

I hate when Natalie loses her toys too. She also freaks out.

We're pretty attached to our stuffed animals too and frequently have celebrations in their honor. He certainly looks like a proud daddy!
