This year, I will be turning 30. I had a really awesome Birthday last year so what would top that but a trip to Vegas, of course.
I can't think of a better way to celebrate my Birthday. It is going to be awesome!
But there is something that I really, really want.....
A tattoo.
I think that to mark my 30th Birthday, while in Vegas, I am going to get a tattoo.
I have no idea what to get but I am sure I will figure something out.
Well, Jake must have over heard me talking about his and he decided to ink himself too.

I have a tattoo and my only suggestion is to keep it small and keep it hidden. You know, somewhere that is covered up by clothes 95% of the time. I have a small heart on my lower left abdomen that is covered even by a bikini. Good luck with it!
I'm pretty sure we already had a convo about this so I won't bore you anymore...
However, I will suggest that you do not use someone new like Jake. LOL!
My kids use markers, not ball point - luckily washable markers (we hide the permanent ones)
lol. Too funny!
Have fun in Vegas!! Are you going to do something about the kids or just for yourself?
Oh I can't wait to see what you think of or what you get! I have fresh ink from a month ago and I'm already wanting another one, which would be my third.

Just don't pass out and get stars on your face! He's quite the artist... and I so want to go with you in Vegas!! I have several tats and I want more...however the hubs put the kibosh on that...boooo
oooh, tattoos scare me... i don't think i could commit to anything like that. i think it's impressive enough that i've committed to my children for life ;-)
I would get permission from Jake to use that cool design on his left calf.
I really wish I understood why kids do this. Moose is always ending up with pen marks on his face, his legs, arms, fingers, even in his ear. Ugh!
Can't wait to see your tattoo. I don't think I'd ever have the guts to get one...I don't like pain.
Have a blast in Vegas! I love Vegas and haven't been in 3 years. Can't wait to see the pictures of the tatoo. I have thought I wanted one for 7 or 8 years now but have never committed. I would definitely want something discreet. The past couple years I have seen a couple people with cool tatoos on their foot. I would do something that would only show in a bikini but I am too pudgy this year to even wear one. Plus if I ever get pregnant again that area is bound to stretch but I digress! Have fun in Vegas!

Oh, go for it!! I have 5 and have desperately wanted #6 for a while... just haven't gotten around to it... there are some really great tattoo parlors in Vegas... can't wait to see what you get!
I had my tat done in Vegas, too! I took my time and checked out three shops at one end of the strip. Just be ready to pay much more than if you did it local. I am going to get my babies first foot prints done, next chance I get. I used to be afraid of needles but after being in the hospital six weeks with the trips (and being diabetic with them)...I am a needle pro....lol! Have fun and take a pic!
Wow, you're only 30!!! That makes me feel old...I'm a whole decade older than you! Well, that explains why you have so much more energy with your kiddos than I do...LOL!
You should totally get a tatoo...how cool!!! I'm too wimpy to get one myself but I love looking at other people's tatoos!
Finally a tattoo huh? I agree with the others, some place discrete. Start looking at designs now so you won't be rushed at the end and pick something that doesn't mean anything to you. Or design one yourself!!!
Having a tat is definitely one way to stay young!

I've been wanting a tattoo but I just can't think of anything I want to have on my skin forever. I went through the toll booth for a tunnel yesterday and the operator had a tattoo of the kool aid pitcher guy on his forearm. It was like 7 inches tall. THAT? Is what someone wanted on their body? Crazy.

I actually contemplated one for my 40the birthday last year - just something small and pretty and hidden. And then I lost the guts, and just did not do it. Good luck girl.

Tattoos are accessories that you can never, ever, ever get rid of. Please imagine how you would feel about wearing the same pair of earrings or carrying the same bag every day for the rest of your life. No No NO tattoo. :(
Go to Vegas, have too much to drink and have one of your girlfriends put a temporary one on you while you sleep. You can go wild and wake up with a tattoo without it being permanent.

Yay! I love tattoos (I have 2) but here's my tip: always remember to keep the tat in a place where you can still wear a formal gown if needed.
So cute! I've wanted a tattoo on my ankle for a long time- but I'm a teacher and the kids would see it. Not sure what I'm going to do!
