What My Children Are Good At

They are good at frustrating me to no end.

They are good at making me laugh when I think that all I want to do is cry.

They are good at pushing my limits so far that I want to run away and never look back.

They are good at giving me hugs and kisses that make any bad mood go away.

They are good at making sure that when I am having one of those days where my reflection scares me as I walk by a mirror that no one will be able to get into the front door to see me.

Such good kids.

Now who's going to pick this mess up?

How sweet of them, only looking out for you.

Are you recovered from your long shift yesterday?

Good luck getting your hubby to clean up the mess :)

I say just keep stepping over it and Daddy can pick it up when he gets home ;-)

They have to be cute and lovable, otherwise the insanity they cause might be too much to take.

I think that's probably some sort of fire code violation.

Sweet post.

And if it makes you feel any better, my living room looks a million times worse.

Those kids are SO thoughtful! Hey, I linked to your blog in my entry today! I want everyone I know to experience your awesomeness :)

Get one of those wide janitor brooms and sweep it all behind another door. :-)

umm - momma that would be you - that's what my kids say to me!

Jen -- the most awesome thing is that when they get older you can ask them to do all those chores you hate doing! You remember all the great stuff and you forget that your floors used to be covered with tons of plastic toys!

Jo-Jo said...

You call that a mess? You should come to my house and see the toys that get scattered in front of my door! LOL

I hear you. :)

Awww... you gotta appreciate talent. It takes skill to undo a room like that :)

Do your kids offer lessons on the door thing?

what good kids! :-) Always there when you need them!!

The good mama of course!

I wouldn't know anything about that however. I'm debating leaving the house a mess so I can go to bed and get up before my good children ;)

I would clean up but I just cleaned up a gigantic mess in the living room..

Helene said...

That looks just like my house! Toys everywhere...they just play with something and then randomly drop it wherever they want. I always tell them, "If I wanted to clean up after people, I'd have gotten a paid job cleaning people's houses". Did that stop them from dropping toys all over the place? NOPE!

I totally feel your pain!
