Let's Look Back: Quinn's Favorite Activity

Quinn is a rocker. No, I don't mean that he rocks out on the guitar and plays in a metal band. He loves the rocking motion, always has. He was one of those infants that was instantly comforted when rocked in a bouncy seat. Even to this day, when he is feeling sad or insecure, he rocks.

This video is of Quinn rocking. He used to do this All.The.Time.

Well, that is until we put the bouncy seats away. But even now, he has been know to get back into that same bouncy seat, over at my sister's house, and rock. He usually spies it across the room, get a huge smile on his face, runs to it and starts rocking.

Its not your computer, there is no sound. Sorry.

This was originally recorded in May 2008. The babies were 10 months old and Claire and Quinn were just learning how to walk.

That's hilarious. He LOVES it! And the other babies are holding on...

Get that boy a rocking chair or a rocking horse or a mechanical bull!

How funny! He looks like he is having fun but might just fly across the room with a slightly higher bounce.

Thanks to Dummy and his refusal to buy me the glider-rocker that I so desperately desired, my daughter knows not the glorious and relaxing sensation of a good rock.

That looks strangely soothing. They should make an adult version of one of those things.

My daughter loved her bouncy chair too. I swear it is the only thing that got us through her infancy.

Which is more amazing: Quinn's leet rocking skillz or the fact that, as soon as I've got headphones for my computer and can FINALLY get sound, that you post a video with NO SOUND?!?

Quinn, hands down.

Look at him go! I have to say--that looks like fun! I would do it too if I could find a big enough bouncy seat!

Too cute! I had a bouncy chair just like that and the kids loved it, not quite as much as Quinn!

That's hilarious! I'm with you, I put the bouncy seat away as soon as they get too big... but just look at how much fun he's having.
