There is Just Nothing Like a Good, Laugh-Out-Loud-Funny, Book

Earlier today, I finished my book. Fearless Fourteen by Janet Evanovich. It was the 14th book in the Stephanie Plum series.

You do not know Stephanie Plum? Well you should. She is a bounty hunter living and working in the burbs of New Jersey. She is in an on again off again relationship with Joe, a very hot, very Italian, Trenton cop. She is also had several hook-ups with Ranger. Her bounty hunter mentor and a hottie hot hot Cuban bad-ass. Then there is her ex-ho best friend Lula, her Grandma, Bob the dog, and I could go on and on but I don't want to give it all away.

I just love these books. They are so good and laugh out loud funny. I had never laughed out loud at a book before I read these books. They never disappoint. Each one just gets better and better. I love how in this last book, Joe and Stephanie 'played' house. I want Joe and Stephanie to be together but then there is Ranger. Oh, Ranger! *swoon*

I don't know how Janet Evanovich does it but she keeps cranking out book after book, each one better and funnier than the last. It is not enough to have the number books but there are also 'in between the numbers' book. So you barely have to wait to get your next Stephanie Plum fix. The newest 'in between the numbers book' is coming out in January and it is so on my Christmas list.
The video gives a hint of the adventures that Stephanie will face in the new book. I know that I am intrigued, are you?

I LOVE the Stephanie Plum series. They are so much fun. I find myself laughing out loud. She almost always has a car blown up, her grandmother is quite a character, and it's just a hilarious cast of characters that grow on you with each book.

I haven't read the 14th though. I need to get it.

I don't think I've read this one.

I need Depends on when I do, 'cause I always laugh so hard I wet myself.

C'mon, you know you do, too.

And I work with a woman who is the spittin' image of Lula, minus the spandex. She cracks me up!

Ohh, I would love me some Ranger. He does it for me way more than Morelli.

I love these books. I have read about six of them. And I can always count on my husband saying, "What's so funny?" and then not getting it when I read it to him. Between Lula and the g-ma and her mother looking for the liquor....it cracks me up and YEAH, I want me some Ranger too.

I thought you'd be way ahead of me, living in the US! My Crazy Sister got me to buy this for her in July. So I did, and gave it to her, restraijned myself from reading it! I then pilfered her whole collectiona nd caught myself up with the hi-LA-rious case of the phone company and what they did to Carl Coglin, the Urban Taxidermist, in Number 13. Too, too funny.

I'm with Heather - need Depends, swoon over Ranger.

I keep meaning to add these to my list. Especially after your last post about them. Maybe next year...after I finally finish my 888 challenge list!

I am an AVID reader. You might go so far to call me fanatical. I'm always looking for good books. I've seen these in stores and for some reason never read any. Should I start with the first one?
