110% Boy

This time is really is some good 'ole dirty fun. He is all boy and this has been his activity of choice for the past couple of days. I really need to teach him how to do laundry. Sorry for the baby whining in the back ground but this is my life, people.

Kids and mud. Dogs love it too.

One time I put my dog in the neighbors fenced-in back yard to play with their dog...when my husband went to get him he was covered head to tail with mud. There was a puddle in the back yard and it had rained recently, so he decided to dig in the puddle hole and proceeded to cover himself with mud. The funny thing is, the neighbor dog was clean as a whistle. He left the mud puddle alone.

Luckily it was summer and we had a kiddie pool. We just filled it with water and let him lay in it.

What a great memory, thanks for posting this...it brought the memory back in all its glory.

Cute! It reminds me I need to get Tristan 4yo out in the mud sometime and boyify him more. He is too clean about himself!!

His little smile there at the end, melts me.

They say "boys will be boys"... but my girls do this, too! They take the pots & pans from their kitchen sets and "cook" with dirt, grass and water.

I love it!! Dottie is our dirty one... Graham would freak out if you made him put his hands in mud.

Oh geez. I can't wait for mud pies but I can wait for the mud part...I know that doesn't make sense. I just hate mud.

whatever passes the time (and gives mom some time). even if you spend 2x as much time later cleaning up the mess!

I loved this line: "Sorry for the baby whining in the background but this is my life, people."

I'd like to say it's MY life too, and so it is, but I only have one baby that age, and one big boy like Hayden.

You give me inspiration to keep on going: if Jen can do it, surely I can too!

I love little boys playing in the mud...until I have to clean them up. hehe

I haven't heard a baby whining in a while. Kind of cute...as long as it isn't mine. hehe

Hayden's adorable.

This so reminds me of Nathan when he was little. He would flood the sandbox ALL the time and it looked like the big mud pond Hayden is in here! How fun!
