That being said, what does Hayden ask for to drink this morning?
Hot Chocolate!
He wanted some hot chocolate really badly. He bagged and pleaded with me to make him some. He even told me how to make it.
"Mom, you need to get some milk, put in it a cup add some yummy chocolate and warm it in the microwave. When it is warm, you let it cool, get a straw and drink it. And Mom, you can't forget the marshmallows."
So after that wonderful instruction, I made him hot chocolate. I think Jeff summed up this situation best by saying,
"Mmmm, I love me some hot chocolate on a nice hot day."You see what I have to deal with. Oh the craziness.

Awww, he just knows what's good, that's all!
In the past week, my girls have asked to wear corduroy skirts and pants.... uh, no, 'cause its still summertime!!
Well, you know, I drink hot coffee no matter what the temperature, so I guess hot cocoa isn't much different. Even Hayden needs a fix once in a while :)
I drink hot tea...and I sweat my butt off. lol Crazy Hayden! Crazy Rhea!
I need my steaming hot cup of coffee every morning regardless of the temp, so I guess I can understand. But past that cup or coffee it is ice cold drinks the rest of the day!
At least Hayden knew exactly what he wanted. :)
My oldest wanted tomato soup today. We are at our AZ house. It's hotter than Hades out and he wanted SOUP! I know ... all you can do is shake your head and watch them sweat.
Like father, like son? Not that I can say much with my four tromping threw the house with their snow boots on.
Are you kidding me? A steaming hot cup of tea is so the best drink in the summer! You go Hayden!
I must agree with Mr. Hayden...
sometimes I drink something hot on a muggy day because it makes my sinuses feel better, other times it's just because it sounds good!
In response to your "Are you ready" comment...I guess I have to be! Any last minute advice, Super Mama? :)
Take Care!

Just a point of clarification. I love me some hot coffee but this day was so hot that I had iced coffee. To me hot chocolate is is winter/fall drink, not summer but you all feel free to enjoy.
I just really liked how he told me to make it.
The boy knows what he wants!!!
kids are weird.
