So a couple of day ago, two wonderful ladies tagged me, Kelly and Stephanie. I guess they wanted to know more about me. Since I have been answering questions lately, I thought that this would fit in just perfectly. So I am going to combine the two memes into one. This is going to be 13 fun and quirky facts about me.
I am not going to tag any one else but feel free to try it. Go see Kelly or Stephanie for the original meme and tell us all about you. If you do, leave the link in the comments so that I can go and see.
13 Fun and Quirky Facts.
1. There is a certain way that I like the light switches in our house. It really bothers me when they are "messed" up. I go around and fix it until its right. Even if it means leaving the kids in the van screaming.
2. I really, really like fun, sassy, sexy, shoes but they are usually to small to fit my wide feet (thank you, pregnancy). So I will buy the shoes even if they are to small, wear them and then end up with sore feet for days. All for Beauty and Fashion.
3. I don't like dogs, especially large ones. I was sorta attacked as a kids when I was ridding my bike and that was it, no dogs. I will tolerate small one.
4. My husband it shorter than I am.
5. I always have a secrete stash of chocolate hidden some where in the house at all times.
6. I am the reining champ at Wii bowling in our family.
7. I am a HUGE American Idol fan. And yes, I always vote.
8. I am not able to watch medical drama's on TV. They are so wrong. I get all mad and end up yelling at the TV.
9. Think that my ankles are sexy.
10. I don't like to read library books. I want to buy them for my own. There is just something about opening a brand new book.
11. I love to read but I am really slow, so I usually don't do it. But I just finished Twilight and I devoured it in 5 days which is unheard of for me. Half way though this book, I ordered the rest of the series. I can't wait.
12. I go the mall more to let the kids play in the play areas, rather than to shop. I also love food courts. I like to do my shopping on-line.
13. I cried in the movie 'The Wedding Singer' with Adam Sandler. Jeff looked over at me sobbing in the theater and laughed harder at me then the movie.
Ok, now you try. It is kinda difficult at first but once you get started the things and quirkiness just start to flow.
Oh, stay tuned because I am working on gathering all my favorite comments from yesterday. Some of them were awesome, I was totally laughing out loud and I can't wait to share.

Oooh, I can't do the library thing, either. I LOVE new books, I can't help myself!
And I TOTALLY cried in The Wedding Singer, too!
I like to own books too, but have made myself go to the library instead as I have spent too much on books. It's just too easy!
So you got sucked in with the Twilight series as well. I am looking to pick up the first one this weekend & start reading. I, too, take forever usually, doting on every word.
So some clarification or more detail in regards to your quirks...
#1) The light switches...Up for on and down for off? If so, I see no issue with this!
#8) I am so with you on the medical dramas...Although, I can't seem to translate that over to the crime shows. My husband is constantly rolling his eyes at me when I say, "Well on CSI, they do it this way..." (he's a police detective)
#12) I like malls so much better now that they have developed these indoor play areas. I'm not a big shopper...probably because I'm too cheap!
So cried at the Wedding singer! And my husband is right along with yours laughing more at me then the movie.
Good sob story. Postpartum and I watched P.S. I Love You, I thought my husband was going to piss himself laughing!

SITS siter!
Great facts, definitely some quirky ones in there, but hey this makes us gals all the more fun!
I love reading too but I stopped buying books (ok I try not to) because I'll soon be needing an entire home just for my book collection!
I am the same way you are about books ... I need my own, not to borrow someone else's.
There were YEARS when buying a book was out of the question because I was a young, single mom. The library was my only resource and while I was grateful for that, now that I can afford to buy, I do. Even if it's used to save a little $$$.
I am with you there on number 10. Brand spanking new book cracking open...not much better. Whoa I am a book nerd.
Well I know you didn't tag me, but I completed this quirky list! You were right...it was hard at first, but then it came to me! I am STILL enjoying your blog...can't seem to get away from it today!!
The Wedding Singer made me cry too!
And I love that you are OCD about your light switches. LOL.
Hey Jen! Congrats on being the Featured Blogger at SITS! I don't really know that site, but I see buttons everywhere, so I know it's big! I guess I'm stupid to not look into it, huh?
I liked the 13 quirky things...I think I will do it!
thank you for stopping by. I'm sure your kids will be just fine. I'm not sure how old your babies are but Moose is 13 months...if we would've tried this even 4 months ago, would've been no big deal.
I am so with you on the secret stash of chocolate. Only I know where it is, and it calls to me late at night when everyone else is asleep. He he he.
And becasue everyone is asleep and I (sweet and wonderful person that I am) want everyone to get their beauty sleep, have to eat it all by myself. Sad, i know.
Chocolate Stash Anonymous...you can't find me!
