Sun, Swings, Tears, oh My!

It a beautiful day today! So we decided it would be fun to take the kids to the park.
Its a long walk from the car to the park. Come on Jakie, you can do it.
Hopefully, he gets here before its time to go.

Hayden and Daddy played on the swings. Hayden is trying to learn how to "pump" on the swing so that he can go "higher and higher." But it is not working the best.

Hayden climbed across the "silly lily pads" with some help from Daddy.
Hold on tight, Buddy.

But then things started to take a turn for the worse. Some of us were not having fun anymore.

So I spent my time at the park holding Quinn, oh and taking a few pictures.
Then things seemed to get a little better. The park turned out not to be an evil place but a really fun place. And happy times were had by all.

I can't wait for Graham to learn to 'pump'... countless hours of my summer have been spent pushing him on the darn swing.. maddening..

Don't playground trips always end in tears???

I love to swing. I get ticked off when I go to the park and there are kids on all the swings! How dare they? LOL. I kid, I kid. But, I do really like to swing.

Jen, I love all your video clips. They are just too adorable (especially the crying one!). We are having beautiful weather here in Ohio, too...high of 80 degrees today with a cool breeze and hardly any humidity. I'm lovin' it, but a little nervous about September (this time last year it was in the 90's to 100's and hot as *#@@).

I know that I am not suppose to think it's funny, but it really is to me. I'm pretty sure that is because it someone else's children expressing their displeasure.

Your family is darling. I love seeing the videos, too.

Now I feel like a schlepp for not paying better attention to your blog. How could I not have realized that you have a Quinn, too. Bad Me. I love the park pictures. Hopefully it'll cool down here soon so we can go swingin'.
Hope you're having a good day.
