So as promised here are my top ten comments from being the featured blogger over at Secrets In The Sauce. There were a ton of awesome comments that day, in all I had 279 new comments. That is amazing! You sure know how to make a girl feel loved.
It was so nice to 'meet' you all and I think that I have made it around to most of you. I also love the fact that I have gained some new readers and best of all, I have made some new bloggy friends.
So with out further ado,
10. Angela said: I suppose I wouldn't mind it everyday pre-kids. Now it is just harder to pull off. I have found this interesting, though, that since I started eating vegan and sugar-free, I want sex more and the sex is MUCH BETTER. But my husband and I have our off nights when I sit on the computer and he watches TV and then there are those nights of intimacy that are sex-free--maybe a long chat while sitting in the bathtub together. But, man, when on vacation, just the two of us, he can't keep up with me! :) TMI, sorry!
9. Bar-b said: LOL, seriously. Damn these toddlers and their logic and smarts.
Happy Sits Day, Happy Sits Day, Happy Sits Day (thought you were used to things in threes).
8. FarmGirl said: Too dang funny! Kids never cease to amaze me. I will never forget when our daughter was 3 and she was playing with her dolls downstairs. She came running up the stairs cryin' and screamin' like a banchee....I scooped her up, looking for cuts,bruises...anything. She was fine. When she finally calmed down, I asked, "what happened"...thru muffled sobs and sniffles she replied, "I said SH**" As any quick thinking mother, I promptly replied," I am glad you told me, I heard you down there. We don't talk like that." And it broke my heart to put her in time out, but it truly was tougher keeping as straight face...YEP! You guessed, I did not her a thing!! AHHH motherhood, ain't it grand!
7. Angie's Spot said: Moms of multiples never cease to amaze me. I'm the one in the store grinning at you, but not commenting because I know you don't want to hear for the zillionth time about "how full those hands must be". ;-)
6. Cristin said: Wow. Even in our younger and hornier days I thought we did it A LOT but not every day... I can't imagine trying to do it now.... not with both of us working, me in the evenings to boot.
We definitely have to get creative... he works close by and comes home for lunch...just sayin...
5. PhatMom said: My almost 5-yr old's fave parrot phrase is "Aww sh*t that hurt!"
Funny things kids will say! Good thing I started my curse-word diet! Now I hear my replacement words which are almost just as bad. Like "eff it" and "poop". :( Kids.
4. Creative Junkie said: rotf!! I've often said it ... I can't believe my youngest daughter's first words were not "sh*t, sh*t, sh*t" ...
I lose all chances of winning Mother of the Year by January 2. Every year.
3. Feliz said: I like the fact that even with "your hands full" you are snapping photos left and right! Gotta love a great sense of humor! I probably would have been in the fetal position in the shoe aisle or something. You go girl!
2. Dana said: Oh, and you'll love this one....I was in the grocery store yesterday and the cutest little old lady was falling in love with my little guy. When she heard that there were indeed 5 boys total, she told me that she understood, she had 4 kids AND she offered to come clean my house! Gotta love that!
Such cute pictures. I get those, "gee you have your hands full" comments all the time. Along with the jaw hitting the floor when I tell people, "Oh, there are two older ones at home" Aren't people aware that we, of ALL people, know our hands are full!?!? Instead of the obvious comments, I think they should just tell us how beautiful our children are!
1. EmBee said: First let me say that I'm SO glad my husband doesn't watch 'The Today Show'... I firmly believe I have him convinced that too much sex will cause something to fall off... my right nipple his left testicle?... I don't know, but something!
I'm not sure how this couple could manage such a fete. I mean, I have to be in the mood and if I've had a day when I feel beaten down, tired or just plain unattractive, the last thing I want to do is have sex. I guess it would seem the opposite should be true, that if one shared intimacy while their personal reserves are low, it might restore them... But for me it just doesn't work that way. I need to feel good about myself to be in the mood.
Wasn't that just great? I hope you enjoyed that. If not, oh well, they at least made me laugh.

279 comments! Wow, you were swimming in an ocean of comment love! I am so jealous! But glad for you, really. When I first started my blog, no one left comments. Then I guilted my sister into making an account, so she could leave comments. Since SITS, I usually have comments every day, which I love!
Congrats on your sauciness. You so deserve it!
Thanks for the shout-out Jen!
Just to keep you up to date... When I told my husband about this post he informed me that his left testicle was indeed ready to fall off, though it was due to the fact that we DIDN'T have sex OFTEN enough. He wanted to show me to prove it... But c'mon, I'm too smart for that, I knew where that was going.
:-)
I should also add:
Curse the Womens Olympic Beach Volleyball Team... They're NOT making my life ANY easier!
Cool for you, you deserved all the love. Sooooo glad you enjoyed the bruschetta bake last night. I am looking forward to making it again. After the comment from Angela about being vegan free and wanting sex more you KNOW I had to visit her on her blog. I'm dumping out the sugar cannister as soon as I get home tonight!!!!!
Holy comments batman. That would take me days to go through... What fun though!
Since your post about the 101 nights, I told my hubby about it and we agreed that when he returns from his deployment (scheduled to begin in 30 short days) we WILL be trying it! LOL!! Thanks for featuring my comment! Glad I could make you laugh!
Hey thanks for including me! You're too funny! Glad you enjoyed your moment in the spotlight!
Thanks so much for the shout out! I'm really enjoying your blog. I'm trying to get my reader caught up, so expect more comments from me soon! :-)
Congratulations on the mega comments. Hopefully many will be regular readers.

too much fun jen....love your blog, for reals...
Glad you enjoyed my comment....I can't wait to tell that story many years down the road to her kids!! Many MANY years down the road! Like 50!! haha So glad you were featured, because I've been lovin' your stuff ever since! Take care, and be careful, GIRL!!
I came across your blog this evening and noticed you are also from Michigan. I've enjoyed reading all of your posts.
I'm not usually much of a commenter but I enjoyed your response to the question about "What you are most self conscious of?" (You asked and I answered part 3, August 8, 2008)and then read farther down about your fun and quirky facts. You stated your husband was shorter than you. After I read that I knew I had to comment. My husband is also shorter than I and you just don't find that very often.
Thanks for sharing I really enjoy your blog. I'll be back for more!!! Sorry to ramble on!
