Babies Talk

The babies are really starting to talk. Of course it is mostly, babble than anything else but there are a few noticeable, actual words in there. Which of course means, I will continue my role of baby interpreter.

Claire seems to be ahead of the boys with the most words. She says, 'hi', 'more', 'me', 'mama', 'book' and of course there is her screeching.

Jake says 'mama' and he says 'ba ba ba'. He uses this to refer to 2 things, in the morning he stands in his crib and says, 'mama, ba ba ba' meaning he wants to get up and have a bottle. It is also what he says when he sees a ball.

Quinn on the other hand, really doesn't say a whole lot or so I thought. My mom pointed out that he does babble a lot it is just quieter than the other kids so I miss a lot of it. But I did not miss this. Quinn knows what a dog is and what a dog says.

What he does is the 'fffff' sound at the end of the word ruff, ruff (aka barking). So whenever he sees a dog or dog-like thing, he starts making the 'ffff, sound.
He is just so smart (I am not biased at all).

He's just taking it all in. :) He is going to be one of those thoughtful types that you'll get a lot of "Why?"'s out of. Too cute!

Adorable. He's just adorable. You can send him to me for a day or two, I'd love it.

I love it when babies start babbling and talking nonsense. Donny and Remy would just jibber jabber all kinds of stuff at me and I had no idea what they were saying. it was soo cute.

Devastating that Smoochy Girl just broke the jack on my headphones. No speakers either - it's my video editing computer and I only ever used headphones. Now I can watch, but can't hear!

I love that he's saying 'fff' at the end of words - I'm working with about 4 little speech therapy kids and we're working on that.

'clifff', 'offff', 'halffff', etc. Go Quinn!

First of all, HOW ADORABLE!!!

I just love babies starting to talk. It's hilarious. Our 15 month old is baby talking all over the place. Not a clue what she's saying, but you can just tell she knows exactly what she's saying. Can't wait until she actually starts using words. So far she only says cheese, dadadadadaaa, papa and of course she knows all the animal sounds. lol

Quin and Peanut need to get together and Ffffff all day long at our local dog park ... 'cept Pea-diddy says it with a small Ooo in the beginning "oo-FFFFFFFFF".

So cute :)

Too cute!! My little guy says the beginning of words, so our dog (Cash) is just "ca".

Cute vid!

Does Hayden "talk" for the other kiddies? I had a problem with my oldest girl doing that for her little sis... my youngest girl started talking at a later age than my oldest girl did, but that was mainly because (I think) big sis was always answering for her, so she didn't feel the need to say anything herself.

Of course, now... its hard to get her to stop yapping!
