Good Times at Camp Henry Part VI: Odds and End

This is the series on our camp vacation
Part I
Part II
Part III
Part IV
You may have noticed that part V is missing. Well it is and I am sorry but I can't for the life of me remember what I wanted to write about. Oh well, maybe it will come to me later.

Well, that about wraps up our time at camp. Even though, there was a lot of planning and stress involved. It really was fun and I am glad that we went. We are going to make it a family vacation tradition. I am going to end with a few more photos. Enjoy!

Hayden found a new love, legos. He is already asking for Star Wars Lego sets for his birthday.

Jake just being Jake.

Claire once again playing in the dirt. She just loved to find rocks and sticks and bring them all to us to show us her treasures.

Chapel. What an awesome place to worship.

Hayden swinging with new friends.

Hayden and Claire walking to breakfast. This is one of my favorite pictures. He really is such a good big brother.

Lastly, here is a good Haydenism story. It was late and hot and we were trying to get Hayden in the shower so that he could go to bed. I made the comment, "Boy, I can't wait to take a shower."
To which Hayden replied, "Yeah, Mom you smell kinda dirty."
Well that right, there pretty much sums up camp.

I love Hayden! Mom you smell kinda dirty! Ha!

He really is a lovely big brother. He, Like Sonny, can yell at the little one/s but overall they both have lovely big-brother relationships with their younger siblings.

I guess there will always be those ghastly yelling times. So let's both just put pictures like this one on our fridge to look at in those times.

Awww, that last picture is so sweet. What a great big brother.

I have to say, my camp experience has never been a positive one; after reading about yours, I'm ready to give it another try. Someday...

You need to frame that picture of Hayden and Claire...such a beautiful picture!!
We have a place down the road from my office that has an outdoor worship area...they hold sunrise services there overlooking a beautiful lake...I love places like these; it just invokes a peaceful feeling.
