Anyway, we spent the day at Nona and Papa's house. They have saved us many, many time in the last 8 months because we have been with out power 4 times. Lets just say that the electric company is going to get an earful from a pissed off mommy.
So because of the fact that I was gone most of the weekend, I am reposting one of my older posts. I need to get my house back in order and spend some quality time with the laundry and try to tackle all the chores I was going to do this weekend.
Let me set the scene. This post was written when the babies were about 7 months old. I had just started feeding them solid food. I would set them up on the table and feed them assembly line style and then offer bottles after the solid food.
So Do You Think that She was Still Hungry?

I tried to feed her, her bottle but she refused so I put it down on the table with the thought the I would try again later. I turned around to walk the boy's bottles to the sink and when I turned back around that is how I found her. Apparently, she wanted the bottle.

Now THAT'S determination!!!
I think I can, I think I can...
So did she get the bottle??
I see Circ de Sol in her future.
Don't you love those bouncy seats? Both of my girls had thier first foods in one. So much better than a high chair. And I love your daughter's quest for the bottle. Because you know it wasn't interesting until it was taken away. Perhaps she is giving you food for thought for times ahead...

So nice it published twice. Stupid blogger...
Love it! A girl who know what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it! :-)
Cristin,
If I remember correctly yes I did give it to her but she only wanted to play with it. Figures.
I am sorry to hear about your power. It is a gigantic pain. I hope you didn't lose anything in your freezer or frig:-(
As for your comments on my blog, if you are buying, I am selling:-)
You are looking at a gal who knows what she wants and GOES for it :)
Good girl!
The power thing is highly annoying. Especially with little people. They just don't get it why you don't just turn the light on.
Ahhh, a woman after my own heart. Sees what she wants and goes after it. Thatta girl!
She was persistent, wasn't she? :)
It's a good thing she is that way having three brothers!
Just like most women right! You don't want something until it is just out of reach. Hey, I could be talking about myself! Ouch!
great re-post!
Have a great day!
Bouncy seats rock!! Both our boys LOVED them. She looks like she's about to fall right out. Scary...but adorably determined.
