Memory Lane Monday: Repost

So this weekend, let just say that it did not turn out as planned. I ended up having to go into work earlier than planned on Saturday and then on Sunday, we had the joy, no pleasure, of loosing power for about 12 hours. I know that I should not complain about this because the people affected by Hurricane Ike have it much worse but it is still a big inconvenience.
Anyway, we spent the day at Nona and Papa's house. They have saved us many, many time in the last 8 months because we have been with out power 4 times. Lets just say that the electric company is going to get an earful from a pissed off mommy.
So because of the fact that I was gone most of the weekend, I am reposting one of my older posts. I need to get my house back in order and spend some quality time with the laundry and try to tackle all the chores I was going to do this weekend.

Let me set the scene. This post was written when the babies were about 7 months old. I had just started feeding them solid food. I would set them up on the table and feed them assembly line style and then offer bottles after the solid food.

So Do You Think that She was Still Hungry?
I tried to feed her, her bottle but she refused so I put it down on the table with the thought the I would try again later. I turned around to walk the boy's bottles to the sink and when I turned back around that is how I found her. Apparently, she wanted the bottle.

Don't you love those bouncy seats? Both of my girls had thier first foods in one. So much better than a high chair. And I love your daughter's quest for the bottle. Because you know it wasn't interesting until it was taken away. Perhaps she is giving you food for thought for times ahead...

I am sorry to hear about your power. It is a gigantic pain. I hope you didn't lose anything in your freezer or frig:-(

As for your comments on my blog, if you are buying, I am selling:-)

The power thing is highly annoying. Especially with little people. They just don't get it why you don't just turn the light on.
