Museum: Lots of Learning and No Fun...Not!

We took the kids to the Children's Museum this past weekend. I have a love/hate relationship with the Children's Museum. It is a place that I love because the kids have so much fun and get to run around and play with all kinds of cool things. I hate it because there are 4 of them and 1 of me and I can barely keep up with them. As soon as I find them all, they are off.

This time, Daddy was able to go with us and that makes it a lot easier. So we all had a great time. There is just so much stuff to do and play with.

The kids played with all kinds of this but I think that stuff that won the most points were the bubbles and the kaleidoscopes. They just couldn't get enough of them. Especially, Claire as she tried to climb into the kaleidoscope.

OMGosh, the kaleidoscope pics are so cool!

My kids like going to the Children's museum here... in fact, we have free passes for them that expire at the end of the year, so I really need to take them soon. Hmm, that would have been something to do this past week while they were out of school on fall break! Oh, well.

I have a thing for kaleidoscopes. I collected them once, but most of them were destroyed by my children. I want to visit that museum now!

Looks like fun. When I was a kid and went to visit my grandparents we would go to a big car/airplane museum. It was always fun even seeing the same thing year after year. Last year I took my wife to it just for memories sake.

What fun! I am very excited for the day I can take my little one to the local children's museums. Mostly because I want to play with all of the stuff and they frown on adult women going by themselves and monopolizing the toys/exhibits. It's ageism, is what it is, but who am I to fight the system.

Awesome photos! The kaleidoscope effect is awesome. I haven't used that before. And I can't spell that word without help. lol

I'm glad Jeff the Wonder Husband was able to go. I'd be intimidated going with four kids on my own also. Whew.

Things are always easier when the parent to child ratio is a little more balanced!!!

Oh, your Children's museum looks like so much fun! And in the pics it doesn't look like it was totally swarmed with people the day you were there! How fun! I was thinking about getting a membership to our Children's museum - especially for this winter!
