These chairs cause major issues, when there are 3 toddlers who love to climb.
This is actually a calm tantrum. (She is capable of much, much worse.) There has been pulling each other off the chairs, biting, hair yanking, pushing, chair tumbling oh and yes, tons and tons of crying.
I love the way the boys look at Claire as she is crying, like "Ha! We got the chairs now. Is that all you got sister? Bring it!"
And yes, I know its fall and a little to cold for running around naked but sometimes I just don't have enough energy to chase them down, wrestle them, get the diaper changed and clothes on in one setting. There are clothes, they just came later.

I love how the boys seem so proud of themselves. And they are surely not getting out of the chairs to see what else they might get into. But, you know. If you had three, they would not be interested at all :-)
Dont the boys seem so proud!!
And good for you for even getting the nappies on!!! That in itself is an accomplishment!
HAH...kings of the hill! But that wasn't much of a tantrum...the child needs to really let em have it...if the volume is high enough and the shriek level piercing enough...she could knock em right off their perches! Cute kids...but I have no clue how you survive...I'm gonna go call my kids and thank them for growing up and being old now lol
It's toddler musical chairs. Without the music, of course. And the fun.
My baby just sat on my lap mesmerized by the babes on the computer. Poor Claire. One of these times she's gonna take one of those boys DOWN!
Clothes, who needs em. We have a family that has twins and I so see that mom struggle with the simpliest of things. I can only imagine what fun you are having. Too much fun, but soon, all too soon they are grown and gone....,
I agree with Kat - if there were three, they wouldn't be interested!
Those kids are adorable, though. I was hoping to see a serious meltdown tantrum so I could say "phewf, it's not only my kids that act that way!"
I swear I don't know how you do it. If I had that much on my plate, they would always be naked:-)
Looks like that super husband of yours needs to learn some woodworking skills! LOL!
I agree, the looks that they give their sister is priceless! Foreshadowing?!
My husband saw the video...he's a carpenter... he'll make you another chair... or we'll just take Claire off your hands... Dottie would love a sister...your choice.
It is nice to know that my kids are normal because they do the same things!
She's all, "I WANT A CHAIR, I WANT A CHAIR!"
And they're all, "Word."
Isn't that how it is for us grown-ups sometimes, too? I plead with my husband, "I wanna go to Hawaii, I wanna go to Fiji!"
And he completely ignores me. Or he says, "Woman, PLEASE!"
Those boys better look out. Claire is just scheming how she is going to get back at them!
I understand the clothes thing all too well!! I have a 5 year old who I still have to convince to get dressed.
Sharing is such a fun thing to teach. Hang in there. I'll let you know when it gets easier!
You're so right, the looks on your boys' faces are hilarious. They just stare and watch her fit. And I do believe she is capable of much worse...she has that big fit potential, I can see it in the way she wears her diaper. lol Just kidding.
Your kiddos are ADORABLE!
Poor little thing. Did she eventually get her turn? :)
As for the diaper/no clothes thing... Our 3 y.o. often decides to hate what she's wearing {even though she chose it only an hour previously} and strips down to her skivvies. No clothes can make the bar at that point. She's the only child out of the 7 who has this particular issue. All the other kids love clothes, go figure.
My best friend's child *hated* getting dressed. He would scream and tantrum and freak the whole time. His poor Mom had a hard enough time changing his diaper, so he walked around without clothes for alot of his babyhood. It just wasn't worth the effort and the tears, I think. On the bright side, he's 6 years old now, and although he still hates getting dressed, he will tolerate *one* outit in the morning. But that's it! {lol}
Silly kids. :)
Clothes are so overrated...and hinder the Buddah bellies that call out to me. I love how the other two are just watching her have her tantrum. Classic!!
oh - we have this same problem - with stools!!
Ooooh, poor Claire-Bear ... I am having such a horrible morning. Can I pull a Claire and just throw a tantrum? It looks like a great stress reliever.
That's awesome! Claire is going to be one tough little cookie when she gets older. She'll be taking on her brothers and winning in no time.
