The other day at breakfast, just in the time it took me to walk across the room from the dinning table to the kitchen sink and turn around, I found Jake standing in the middle of the table throwing coffee every where, Quinn emptying the diaper pail, Claire screaming Hayden and Hayden taking a toy from her while crying that he had is first.
At this moment in the midst of all the chaos, I realized that I am greatly out numbered. And boy, I am in in trouble.

The first thing on have to comment on is your babies, being called babies. You are good with me on that topic. My youngest is 4 and I still call her baby. For all that's worth I sometimes refer to the others that way too. No matter how old......nothing will change that they will always be your babies.
Yes, the odds are against you. The RS and I decided we call it learning "zone defense", instead of "man to man." We/I have clearly not mastered this, but we're working on it.
Enjoy the chaos, one day they will grow up. I am told when they do, we would be willing to do almost anything to get just a few of those precious moments of chaos back.
HA! I still call my girls babies sometimes too...hard thing to let go of for this mama!
Yes, I thought of you yesterday when I took my youngest 2 kids to the park. I put our baby in the swing and thought, oh if anyone else needs a swing I"ll just tell them to put theirs in the same swing with mine. I know two can fit - I've seen it online!!
And, that cartoon, I love baby blues! But it's too small and I can't read it. What does it say?
I still call my Babies, Babies, and the oldest is a college senior! I think that's a habit that will last into perpetuity. BTW, I've posted something today about the disappearance of the puzzling Blogstalker, who seems to have evaporated from Cyberspace. I notice that you're on his/her/its blogroll, so thought I'd touch base. Please drop by and weigh in on this mystery!
I don't know how you do it!! Really!!
They will always be your babies!!
I still call my 4 yr old my baby girl.

We all call Dottie the baby... I'm still in denial that she's getting older...
thank you for visiting and commenting on my blog via BATW!
I actually preferred to share the baby swings with another willing participant when I took my girls to the park as babies/toddlers. It was much easier for them to sit up and not fall over inside the swing when there were two of them in there.
My co-worker calls his married daughter his "baby" still. :)
I agree that they will always be your babies. :) But yes, you have your work cut out for you!!
Gert always says "I will always be your baby, even when I have my own babies"
Dang straight girl!!!
i feel like that too...and baby blus is pretty much my life :)
I love me some Baby Blues!! I did a post awhile ago on how uncanny the similarities between the strip and my real life are:

Oh, and my youngest always says she will be my baby forever... she's 5.
I used to have a Baby Blues cut out and posted to my fridge every week, that's how close to my life they are. Now I don't get the Sunday paper, but I sure miss those comics!
I still call Gabe "the baby", and he is four years old. I'm not sure when that stops...
I don't have triplets but I gots me six kids. The youngest are one year apart, the older is slow (a boy, ya know) and the younger is super advanced so it's like having, developmentally anyway, twins. They fight like cats and dogs too. ha ha
but they are almost 3 and freshly 4 and I still call them the babies. I say if they can't sit through a movie at the theater without constant food and drink then they are babies. lol
Yes, my little Smoochy Girl is about the same age as your three, and she changed from a baby to a toddler last month or the month before. One week I had a baby, the next I had a toddler. Weird but nice.
