Would You Just Be Still!

OK, so we love Halloween! It is so much fun, right?
But what does it produce?

Super hyper kids that won't stand still for a minute to let me take a picture. I think at one point, I actually yelled, "Will Everyone Just Stand STILL!"
To which the reaction was to run away faster in all different directions.

So this is what you get, blurry, random, craziness and this was before partaking in the candy.

Here is one of the only good photo's I got where everyone was up at the door trick or treating. This was the very first house we went to and after this house, we lost interest. Jeff, the candy lover, is very disappointed in the loot.

But they are very cute and I do love my Lady Bug, Cowboy, Tiger and Super Hero (Batman or Venom depending on when you asked).

I can't IMAGINE trying to corral the 4 of them in a pic...

You should let them sleep in them... there's your best bet!!!

You know how shy Aidan is, I thought he would be scared of trick or treating and one house would send him into tears! Boy was I wrong! Once I explained that people were going to give him candy and he saw that they did, he didn't want to stop! We actually had to stop him so we could go home! And only one person that he was a girl in his ladybug/"butterfly" costume!

Oh, by the way, your group is ADORABLE!!

ROTFL - that's what I kept saying over and over and over tonight..."Be Still" and "Look over here" we went out with some friends with a toddler the same age. We could NOT get them in the photo together to save our lives. lol Your photos are so fun! Gooood times!

Oh and I hope you join in this weekend for SES! ;-) Look forward to reading what you have to say.

Oh, I tell you, I NEVER get the best pictures of the year on Halloween. Low light and wired kids do NOT mix!!!

Your pumpkin-butt picture is a stitch!

Aw, looks like a wild and crazy time was had by all. I'm already hearing tummy ache complaints. ;-)

The caption of the last picture should be "Little Tiger, Go get daddy some candy..."

Yeah... here's what I'm thinking- they're running around, hyper, crazy, fuzzy pictures, all that jazz- PRE CANDY... what about after the sugar bomb drops? Well, my friends, that what we call the INSANE hour followed by the comotose sweets hangover. Ahhh, that's what Halloween is all about- the silent comotose children.

Yes, I have learned to embrace the "action" shot - I'm pretty sure 20 years from now I will have a meltdown because I won't have any pictures of my children's faces, only their behinds.

But they're cute behinds.

They all looked so sweet!! Blury and all.

In a few years you will be the one who is tired after 1 house and want to call it quits. We walked for 2 hours and my girls wanted to keep going. I wanted to go home and go to bed!!

They are still super cute even if the photos are blurry.

hahaha. i love that you had to wrangle them all in for a photo. i had to do the same thing and i only have 1 kid! (note: Puffs bribe totally worked, he sat for a whole 5 minutes in one spot!)

Oh.....they are so cute! Good news is.......it gets slightly easier as they get older.
Thank you for your kind words, Jen. You have no idea how much they meant the other day.

It sounds like a fun but hectic Halloween:-) Good idea only going to one house:-) I wouldn't have even made it that far:-)

Friday was a 1/2 day of school... all afternoon, my youngest kept asking when she can put on her costume, when was it time to go trick-or-treating, when would Daddy be home...

Happy the kiddos had fun!
