Me: *nervous* "What?"
Hayden: "When I took a bite of my apple and squished it with my teeth, juice came out. Mom, apple juice came out of the apple and went into my tummy. Isn't that just the coolest!"
Me: *kinda dumbfounded* "Yeah, Hayden that is cool. Apple juice is made from apples."
Hayden: "This is just so cool. I have to eat more apple to get more juice."
And he is supposed to be the smart one.

Too bad the same can't be said for biting into a coffee bean ...
Don't you love to see things 'click' for a person? It doesn't always have to be a child either.
Seriously, he is so precocious and cute! Just wait until he starts asking *or realizing* the BIG questions! LOL!
LOL! What, you mean apple juice comes from apples???
That is hilarious!
Aww, I love it when they get so smart.
Too funny. But you gotta love "discovery!"
Gotta love things that kids say and do!
Woo Hoo the lightbulb moment!!
The other day (ok, it was a few months ago) I saw someone talking about the full moon while on Twitter. And I looked out the window and saw the same full moon. And I was so surprised.
Well, duh, we all see the same moon. But I hadn't thought about it.
So, I understand, Hayden, I truly do. lol
Aw, that is smart. It's a no brainer for us, but I'll bet no one ever told him apple juice came from apples before. lol
Just wait till he figures out where hamburger comes from.
Oh cute! Made me laugh!
Smoochy is sitting on my lap right now pointing to the pic of Hayden saying, "apple, apple, apple?"

It's pretty amazing when kids have those a-ha moments. I was with a friend of mine when her son "discovered" that rain was water. It was a pretty amazing moment.
This made me laugh out loud (seriously more of the time I just say LOL and don't really mean it, but this, well this was different I really did laugh out loud)!
Genius really.... hopefully not evil genius...
