PSF: A Dog Gone Good Book

Quinn loves dogs!

That is why this book was a perfect gift for Quinn. He loves this book and carries it around the house, barking as he goes.

This page, right here is why Mommy loves this book. It makes me laugh, every single time I read it (which is about 20 times a day).

But sadly, this is what happened to the book after about 10 days in our house. See, even one of the dogs lost its head. Poor Doggie!
It was a darn good thing that Quinn was given 2 copies of this book.
Yeah, Quinn's little life is now complete once again.

That is a favorite at our house, too! So tell me what you think? Did they digitally create the trees using marijuana leaves? I am convinced they did! I've never seen a leaf in person, but I asked a self-proclaimed expert and he agreed! I imagine the authors of this wonderful book sitting back and laughing all the way to the bank about their little inside joke!

That looks like the coolest book! And, it looks like he loves it!

Great book, it is true all dogs do poop and pee.

That is so funny.

HEY! We saw that book at Toys R Us. The kids laughed and laughed about the peeing and pooping. :) I, myself, was aghast.

That last picture is awesome!

Aidan has the book "Everyone Poops". Another hilarious good time!

Is that made by the same people that made "Tails"? Looks similar...sort of.

Our books end up looking much the same, especially those with lifty-tab and pull-tab features. Ah, well. I guess the books are meant for enjoying. Good thing you've got two!

That's what happens to books in our house too:-)

Our books look just like that! But I figure if they want to play with them, that means they are interested in books. A+ in my book!

How could you not crack up with that one page. The dog has no modesty...he's looking right at ya! :)

I am glad there was a spare. Now you can breathe...and still laugh! :)

LOVE his face . . . something funny here - my son took a HUGE liking to dogs/pupppies at around age 3 - so much so that I called him puppy b/c he wouldn't answer to anything else! To this day - he is NUTS over anything to do with dogs or puppies - movies, stuffed animals, books . . .

Oh that is a cute kid! We have many books fall to a similar fate around here.

Oh...I meant to mention I saw "Hotel for Dogs." Quinn should love that movie.

Hilarious... ah, that's the danger for a well loved book!!

Your son is so cute!

Cute picture of Quinn! The picture of the dog peeing is hilarious too! Imagine my dismay when I see a torn out piece of the pop-up library book I checked out for Baby Boy on my floor this morning. Lucky for me when I actually opened the book I realized a bunch of other children had already ruined it and I was in the clear! Whew!

Oh yes, that tends to happen with favorites. Little man L is completely obsessed with our dogs.

I'm just imagining the photographer: "Right we need to get a dog - this one - and feed it up big, then wait and once we see it HUNCHING ..."

All dogs poop. Heh.

That book is a huge hit at our house as well (plus we have dogs). There is also Tail and an Alphabet book which we read too. The babeola likes to feel things and lift flaps.

That being said... we had to trash our copy of Tails as she had slowly destroyed it with love.

Baby Einstein has some touch and feel books which are more durable. Violet's House is one of their titles.

we have the exact book...and the peeing dog cracks me up...

and sadly, the dog head on our book took a dive too. it's still b's fav book though. it's about dogs, which she has total love for!

I can't believe it shows a dog peeing! With my son, he'd probably decide he has to pee on a tree too!

All our books end up like that. Trevor likes to not only bend them whichever way he also likes to eat them...

LOL. So funny! Delia loves that book too!! You know the dog scratching himself?? Yeah, he lost his leg in our house. :)

Omg! That is so funny that they talk about peeing and pooping! Looks like a great book and Quinn looks VERY happy to have it!

That is a favorite book of Maggie's as well. I remember when she was about 9 months old and "ate" Pat the Bunny (most of it during her baptism). Seriously, only about half the book survived.

Quinn is adorable!

The pic of Quinn is priceless!

And I would giggle, too, when I read the page about poop.

That page cracks me up, too! I think it's time to add a book to our "library!"

OMG, that book is awesome. Both my boys would have/still would love that book.

that book is a favorite in our house :-)

I really don't like potty talk. Maybe that's why I don't have a dog. Or more young kids. So I think I'd "accidentally" skip that page every time... ;)

OMG, honestly, that is my son's FAVORITE book too! We read it at least 3 times a day. And he too, has pulled of a few of the doggie heads and tails. SOO FUNNY!
