For this week's Tuesday's Tribute, I would like to highlight possibly the best TV show on right now. There is drama. There is suspense. There is laughter. There are tears. There is judging. There are people doing God knows what just to get on TV.
No, I am not talking about Lost (sorry all you, Losties. I hope we can still be friends.) I am gushing about American Idol! I love this show. I look forward to it every year. I have it set on my DVR so I can watch it again and again (and so that it will not cut into my blogging time).
I don't get how any one can not see the awesomeness that is this show. Where else are you going to see people doing this?

But just when you think that all is lost and there is no talented people, these power houses step up to the plate
*sigh* How can you not love this show? The contestants, the judges, the comments, the talent, the ridiculousness. It is just so darn awesome!
So far it looks like its going to be a great year. I can't wait to see who is going to be in the top 12. I got my finger's ready to start voting, do you?
If you didn't like this post, then I am sorry but it is better than the tribute that I was going to write to antibiotics that yes do help the kids get over their ear infections but have caused diarrhea from hell that turned Quinn's pajamas into an irruption of poo from the collar no less which led to a 2AM bath. Lets just say he was not very pleased with this. Now that is what I call a tribute but I will spare you all the gross details. Go see Jay and Deb, to read some real tributes.

I love the American Idol auditions but then I never make it to the end of the show after that. lol

I miss American Idol..but we have the X Factor here in England...Think American Idol on steroids.

I like the Felicia girl,and the guy that sang the Gavin Degraw song (Matt Giraud). Obviously personal preferences. :)
I like American Idol too! My husband, surprisingly, likes it more than I do. lol

I'm such an AI junkie! I love this part of the season, but of course I can't wait until they weed out all the crazies and we get down to business. Can I just say that I can't stand the new judge? I think she's a bit much.
I LOVE me some AI. I think there were some hot messes during audition week and you've ended up with a few of my favorites on your page.
These poor people must have been escapees from the nearest psych ward, but at least they were entertaining!

I LOVE BANANA MAN!!! But couldn't he at least get a fresh banana? that one was all brown-spotty. And, he even looks like a banana... all tall and skinny and yellow. I think he wanted to offer Simon HIS banana.
And thank you for sparing us the post about the diarrhea volcano. Although, did you really spare us? I mean, I still read it. Yuck. NO fun for you.

i think you could have combined the idol and antiboitics post. many of these contests look like the need some and we all know Paula is on SOMETHING.
I LOVE American Idol and have since the very beginning. I think that Simon is mean, but agree with him almost 100% of the time so I guess that I am mean too. haha.
That is awful that the kids are sick, hope they feel better soon!

Love me some American Idol... as for the pictures on my page, that guy standing is my hubby and he was sling-shoting my son around in the sled on the ice... he did WAY better than I did on the ice...

I'm glad you posted those! I haven't had a chance to see the show this season, and I love it.
I'm thinking about finally getting a DVR this year for Idol purposes because I work EVERY Tuesday and Wednesday evening... I've been an Idol addict since the first season.
Yep, LOVE AI. And I love hat I get to watch it with my son. we crack up at the people who think they can sing. I want to slap them sometimes.
