Are You Ready for Another Holiday?

Jeff is very happy that Christmas is over. Not because he is Scrooge and all Bah Hum Bug about the whole holiday but because now with Christmas over the stores are getting ready for Valentine's Day. And Jeff loves Valentine's Day!

No, it not because he is such a romantic guy and can't wait to get started planning his big Valentine's Day surprise for his awesome wife. Its because now his first love is out and ready for consumption

Conversation Hearts!
He just can't help himself. He has to have them. I had to put this bag into a zip lock bag because he could hardly control himself trying to get them into his mouth.

He has also been know to eat them to the point of intestinal distress. Does that stop him? Nope, the man is crazy for conversation hearts, crazy I tell you.

So if you need conversation hearts for Valentine's Day, go out and get them now. I will try and distract him but I don't know how long I can. Hurry, the bag, that he just bought yesterday, is almost gone and he is going to need more!

Jeff will have to move to the UK. They are called 'Love Hearts' here and available all year round!

Good lord, that's hilarious. Intestinal distress...ouch.

If what Laura says is true, I will gladly ship you conversation hearts all year round. Uh Oh Jen, you might be in some serious sugar fueled trouble!

I love the white ones and the pink ones... maybe Jeff and I could strike a deal where I mail him the ones that I don't like in return for all of his white and pink ones??? You know, I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine???

How awesome is that? Love his picture too funny! We are also using them now for potty treats instead of skittles :)

That's too funny! I prefer Easter candy myself!

How funny! I was just thinking I needed some conversation hearts today, not for eating but decorating. They are yummy though!

Happy New Year Jen (very belated)! Love all candy to be honest - but we get those all year round.

I can hardly down one package let alone eat them to the point of intestinal distress!!!

Has he tried the sour ones?

Have fun rationing the conversation hearts!!!

We've got a couple of conversation hearts addicts over here, too. It gets worse around here with the hearts than at Halloween with the candy corn! BTW, I've got a Giveaway goin' on at my place...please drop by!

eew ... I stick to candy that is chocolate... or chocolate filled ... or chocolate coated ... or peanut butter and chocolate.

Well, all those AND vodka.

Perhaps there is a conversation hearts program he can check himself into :) I think it's next to the dentist's office.

He can have my share - I'm not a fan.

That's cute - and kind of nasty at the same time.

I didn't know you were actually supposed to eat those things.

Oh well, more for Jeff to love!!

Oh, wow. I don't think I could eat too many of those! Peanut butter cups...yes. Conversation hearts? Not so much.

Heh, intestinal distress! heh! I have never heard of a man so in love with conversation hearts. Good to see you bought a BIG bag. Go out and grab a few more.

Sorry I have been away so long from commenting!!! That is so funny - great pic! I'll send him mine...I have to say for me they are kinda the equivalent of flavored tums - although I do like the white hearts - but what can I say - I am a chocolate and strictly chocolate girl like my mama! :-)

I love candy, but I absolutely can't stand conversation hearts. :-P

These are one of my least favorite candies. Don't get me wrong I still eat them but not my favorite. Hope that his tummy can make it till March.

I like them, probably not to that extent :)

You have got to be kidding! Even my kids won't eat them. We throw so many away each year. Should I mail them to ya??

OK, I can now say I officially "know" someone who loves these things. I have this theory that they're just recycled every year...and that new, up-to-date phrases are sprayed on over the old ones. Therefore, "Cutie-Pie" becomes "Text Me!"

And Jeff's eating all this. Intestinal distress, indeed.

Pure sugar, mmm. I enjoy the candy hearts but not to the point of intestinal distress. Reese's pieces, on the other hand...

After all that sugar is he keeping you up at night too, along with the babies?

I always thought they tasted like colored chalk. With words.
