Calgon, Take Me Away

In the past couple of days, life and chewed me up and spit me out, twice. I am exhausted and don't know how much more of this I can take.

The babies are all sick. I finally took them to the doctor today and told him the he needed to fix them. I am done with all the illness. Well, he found ear infections or three so hopefully once the antibiotics kick in they will return to sane little creatures once again.

Work has been super busy lately. I am done with runny my tail off to save lives. Oh wait, that was my chosen career. So I will still save lives but can I do it at a slower pace?

And then there is Hayden. Hayden. Hayden. Hayden. He is just a boy who is going a little stir crazy. That is he making up new games. Like this one, throwing random things in the air to see if he can get them stuck in chandelier. Isn't that lovely? (and yes, I still have my Christmas stuff up outside. Its cold, sue me)
The worst part of all this is that my blogging is suffering. I hate that. I am so sorry if you commented and I did not get back to see you. I love all my bloggy friends so and it pains me not to return the comment love.

So for now, I ask you to bare with me. I am going to take the weekend off. Get some rest, threaten something terrible if the babies don't get better soon (we all know that is not true, I will just love and cuddle them until the get better), and hopefully by Sunday or Monday life will return to normal and all my bloggy love juice will be flowing once again.

Have a great weekend everyone. Goodness, I need a vacation!

Chewed up and spit out? You too? Whew. Glad I'm not the only one. Makes me a grabby blogger. And who wants to read that, right? We don't have ear in fections, but instead constipation/impacted poop in the baby, and Hand Foot Mouth in the toddler who cried and cried and cried tonight. Sigh. Such is the life of a mother. Bless you. Bless me. Bless us all. Enjoy your weekend off.

Aww ... sick babies are no fun! Sending some energy your way (not that I have a whole lot of it myself, but I'll share what I got)! I sent an award your way on my blog ... hope that cheers you up a bit! :o)

Oh girl, we all feel like this at some stage or another. Enjoy your rest and hope all gets well soon. I am also sure that older siblings of multiples find some way to constantly draw the attention to them - just because the multiples are so demanding on everybody's time and attention.

Chewed up and spit out!! I understand that feeling. Sorry it's gone pear-shaped for you right now. Don't worry about the blogging suffering - we'll always be here for you whenever. Just go and cuddle that lovely family of yours.

Oh, I'm sorry... get some rest (if you can). That's just awful. Hopefully the ear infections will clear up soon. Oh and the throwing things into the air... doesn't end. My son is 8 and I find socks and toys in the fans all the time. I just don't get it.

Maybe you should throw Hayden off the balcony to see if he can get the toys down? Just sayin'....

Ohhh, I hope things start looking up over the weekend! Get some much much needed R&R and hit the reset button. Work has been like that here too!!! I was there 7a-10p the other day, not by choice, but because my day bit that bad....and clearly so did my patients'! I was like, is it a full moon or have many many moons aligned reeking such havoc on ICU nursing profession....I want an Dr. office job....perhaps there I can actually squeeze in a bathroom break without someone trying to "walk towards the Light"! ;-)

I wasn't going to comment for fear of adding to the pressure. So don't answer this comment. Take the time you need and we look foward to your return.

Ugh - hope everyone is feeling better soon!

I have to admit, I can see why that game would be appealing. Especially to a kid! ;)

Hang in there, Jen!!

My boys have to constantly throw things up in the trees when we're outside...until something gets stuck. Then they have fun throwing other things up into the trees to unstick it. lol It's a never ending cycle. BOYS!

(((Hugs))) You need a girls night out and then a weekend at the spa. :)

Have a nice relaxing weekend.....if that is possible???

Ha! How are you going to get that thing down? Your house is beautiful, by the way!

I'm with Michelle, get thee to a spa for a massage and a pedicure, STAT! Of course, I could stand to take my own advice, I even have a gift certificate for a massage that I need to use. Tough to get away, I know. But do it. It won't fix all the owies or solve all the problems but for one glorious hour, you can escape and maybe recover a bit of your sanity.

Live.Love.Eat said...

Sorry it's been tough. But do what you have to do. I understand, I used to go down my blogroll daily no fail. But I have been unable to for the past few weeks. Things change but then they change back. Good luck!!!!

UGH! Nothing worse than having a house full of sick babies :(
I hope everyone starts to feel better soon and worry about comments later.

I came here from SITS and immediately my eye caught the ball in the light fixture. I laughed and could totally relate!! I have four young'uns myself, three of them boys.

I think you and I are living in parallel (paralell? whatever!)universes with the same child. Aidan throws crap up on top of anything and everything.

have a good weekend!
