Tuesday's Tribute: Super Dad

Tuesday's Tribute
Yet Another Jay and Deb Production.

I saw this 'Tuesday's Tribute' over at Seven Clown Circus and I just loved the idea. I know that I am late and Tuesday is almost over, at least on the east coast, but there is just some one that I have to spotlight today. (I am taking Angie's idea on that too) I have to put my hubby in the spotlight.

You see, today was the first day that all 4 kids went to day care while I worked. Previously, the babies had been home and just Hayden went to day care. Well, finally after being on the waiting list for 2 years, the babies got into the same center where Hayden is. We really love this place and are so happy to have the babies go to 'school' here too.

Anyway, since I work 12 hour shifts, our whole routine falls on him. I can help get the kids dressed in the morning before I leave but he does the rest. He drops them off, gets himself to work, picks them up again, makes dinner, feeds the kids, bathes each kid, picks up the house and does the dishes all before 8PM when I get home.

If that doesn't put him in the spotlight, then I don't know what does. What a SUPER Dad!

your hubby sounds like the best. i am very impressed that he handles that much with one, much less 4!

congrats on getting the kiddos all in one place. it must be such a great relief knowing they are all together being well cared for!

I SO understand what you are going thru...am I right, are you a nurse? I can't remember... My wife works 12s as an RN, and I have to get 2 kids to daycare, but FOUR is beyond my wildest imagination...INCREDIBLE.

SO happy you joined us, and your hubby sounds like great people.

Yep, 12-hour shifts sure do suck when it comes to childcare, don't they?

You are so blessed to have such a supportive and helpful husband. Not many women can say that.

Great post, Jen.
