I taught the babies a new trick. Hayden had a hand in the lesson teaching too. In hind sight, it was not the best move I have made but it was sure fun at the time.
Hayden made a pillow pile and was jumping onto it. The babies were intrigued. So at first, I helped them jump onto the pillows but is was not long until they were free flying and jumping onto the pillows on their own.

Correction, it was not long until Quinn and Claire were free flying and jumping on their own.
Jake on the other hand...

well, he thought it was all nuts and wanted nothing to do with it. But I do think that he was enjoying mommy's lap all to him self.
And now for your viewing pleasure, here is all the jumping action!

You know, that looks like a lot of fun....even for this 36 year old :)
Jake is a VERY sensible young man, I'd say! Hope no one cracks his/her head open on that coffee table! That's happened in my house once or twice!!
me and b/jk were watching and i told b that she might grow up and marry hayden...she goes "mom!".
they are stinking cute i can't stand it!!! and i think maybe jacob has it right...cuddle time with momma!
the girls wanna watch the video again, so i'm off!
Too funny!!!! Looks like a fun indoor activity. :)
Oh, yeah, it's all fun and games 'til someone cracks their head.
Being snowbound calls for desperate measures. And it does look like lots of fun.
Maybe the kids can do that while you and I head over to the spa...
Trevor is enjoying the video...not so sure that's a good thing though. He hasn't proven to do very well around coffee tables...
Hey I love that pass time. COurse now I wind up with a hurt tailbone! AHHH to be young again
You are a brave, brave soul! Those kids were having a blast!!
Looks like fun!
My 2 year old and I love to jump on the bed together. I have done it with all my kids...they are only young once, and they are moments that will last a lifetime!
Happy jumping!
(-:
Great action shots! Your babies are brave--Pickle will copy Gooser and stand on the ottoman--but she's too scared to jump off!
Gotta love flying babies. great photos and video!
Augh so cute!
What a great video. I'm not sure but I think you might regret teaching them that in a few days.
Next weeks video will be of them jumping off the countertops, bookcases, swinging from chandeliers... :0)
LOVE the video, but it makes me so nervous.
I really need to lighten up.
Must be the result of indoor boredom. It happens so easily, you show them something just to later think, oops, maybe that was not the best idea. But is was surely fun!
Whee!
Looks like tons of fun.
My kids would have hit their heads...pushed eachother into the table....and somehow ended up in emerg. Lucky for you everyone stayed safe and had fun!
Imiss putting all the pillows at the bottom of the stairs and jumping!!!
I remember doing fun stuff like that when I was a kid. But I don't want to take my kids to the ER or even the thought of it! UGGH, so they do nothing fun except watch me blog. Just kidding! No you can't sled down the driveway into the street! How many times do I have to tell you. I don't know where these kids learn this stuff.
oh that looks like so much fun!!!
I love Jake's reaction.
Fun!
When we were kids, my brother, sister and I would put one end of the coffee table on the sofa... so it was at an angle... then "ski" down it in our socks... landing into a pile of pillows at the bottom!
Such simple fun. Wouldn't it be nice?1
That is too fun! It's amazing how much fun you can have with just basic house stuff!
Hmmm... now you got me thinking of something to do...
Feisty
AWESOME!!! Our home has also turned into a ghetto-version of Gymboree... who needs to pay $60 a month when you can do the same things at home? I bet it kept them busy forever!
They just get cuter and cuter...
Wow, they're so big! Nice action pics. It was also fun to see them in action and hear them :) I see a gymnastics squad in your future...
I updated my blog! I promise! And I just my do today as well...2 days in a row!
It starts out cute and innocent like that, then they realize the pile of pillows is their key to freedom. Next thing you know the pile the pillows up in front of the front door to undo the child lock and are running the street while you are in the shower. I'm just a saying, smart kids stack pillows. :)
Oh, if only we had a coffee table!!!! I'm sure we will find something else to throw ourselves off of around here! ;-) Fantastic action shots Jen!
Pillow diving is the best!
This is how the Flying Walendas got their start:-) Hee, hee, hee.
FUN!!! My girls love jumping off the coach into a pile of blankets or pillows.
LOVE THIS
Hilarious! I tell you... what we allow our kids to do for the sake of not driving us crazy!
So much fun!!!!
