Nice and Comfy

What I really want to know is what in the world was she doing (and thinking) minutes before falling asleep that go her into this position.

How can kids sleep like this? I just don't get it.

Maybe she had her feet up against the rails and they slid down when she fell asleep? I am constantly amazed at the positions my daughter can sleep in. She seems particularly fond of pressing her head into the slats. How can that possibly be comfortable?

we have video of princess with her head between the crib bumper and the crib rails when she was about 4 or 5 months old. i have no clue how she got that way, either :)

Wow, reminds me of Peanut. How do kids sleep like that? We had to get her a real bed, due to legs stuck in bars too many times.

Maybe she was trying to escape. Cute picture.

I don't know, but you sure are brave creeping in there while she's sleeping and even USING A FLASH. When Baby Sally falls asleep, I am a nutjob about people staying away from her room, even away from the hallway. If anyone interrupts my blog time, oh, I mean her nap time, I become "MEAN MOMMY". LOL

I am thinking SHE was thinking "Just a little bit more and I'll be free from my crib!"

Love it!

LOL!! I don't know how babies get into such crazy positions! I have found Pickle in similar poses--she has the same jammies too!!

Too funny! Did her legs hurt when she went to move? How great that you got a picture of that! I wish I would have taken more pics of my wee ones sleeping! :)

They're like jelly at that age - we could probably fold them in half and then do it agian when they're this out and they'd be fine. Interesting beings we all were at one time. :)

My kids always slept on their tummies with their butts straight up in the air. Funniest thing.

I don't see how kids can sleep sitting up in their carseats. Their heads all slumped over. Makes my neck hurt just looking at them.

It is amazing that they can sleep like that and not wake up "stuck"!

Love the jammies!

Tee hee hee, some of my favorite pictures are of the funny sleeping positions my girls would get themselves in as babies.

LOL! I don't get it, either. To me, it would just seem way too uncomfortable to sleep like that!

Kids can manage to sleep in the most interesting positions. And be just fine when they wake up. And me...if I don't sleep a certain way...on my bed...on my pillows...I am stiff and creaky the next morning. Old is not fun :-)

My son sleeps just like this! He is obsessed with hanging his feet out the bars??? I agree, seems extremely uncomfortable!

And then when they get into this position, it drives you crazy on whether to move them or not because you know that if you don't move them, sleeping like this will wake them up since they can't move. And if you do move them, they will wake up because you moved them! Why?! Why can't they just lay motionless, right? heehee
