Nothing Exciting, Just the Norm

I am sorry my bloggy buddies but I have nothing interesting, funny or exciting to write about. There was not a lot going on around here this weekend.

I tackled my pile-o-laundry, only to have the baskets fill up again by the end of the day.
Jeff mopped the floors and too keep them clean, we went and had dinner at my mom's house.
Jeff and I went out to see a movie, thank you to my awesome sister for watching the kids.
I found a new love that I totally must have, the Blackberry Curve.
We finally plowed our driveway, when we thought that they snow had stopped only to have to do it again because it started to snow once again.
Jeff was dethroned in WoW (aka World of Warcraft). He has been talking about it all weekend. He can barely play, who am I kidding we will probably play all night to reclaim his title.

See, just an ordinary everyday weekend that for some reason has exhausted me. I am going to try and go to bed early tonight and hope, no pray for a full nights rest with out any interruptions from the kids or my husband.

I don't have anything to blog about, either...

What movie did you see?

My husband has been sick all day. He said "you know I'm sick because I haven't played WoW all day." THAT is something. Glad to hear I'm not the only WoW widow.

Oh, and not much happening is kind of good, right?

Yes, I find that my husband interrupts my sleep as often as my kids do. Grr. Gotta love them.

Sometimes, nothing exciting is a good thing! Almost gives you a chance to catch up and get ready for too much excitement!

Ahhh-Sleep. I will pray for a whole weeks worth of good sleep for you. Sleep well.

isn't it funny how an ordinary weekend can be so exhausting!

Laundry is amazing like that. I've had pillows and cushions busting in the machine recently, too. Cause I just LOVE cleaning that sort of mess.

I don't know what Warcraft is, but I'm sure Texan papa does. Right now (and for about 6 months) he's obsessed with Warhammer 40K. Ask Jeff if he knows what that is. When I see TP working on it, all I can think is... what. a. nerd.

Oh, I hear ya with the laundry. It's like bunnies. It just keeps on multiplyin'...

And a movie! That's awesome! Oh, to get out with the husband (sans children) for a night would be a glorious thing. What did you see?!

Sounds like a lovely weekend. My older daughter is home from college. We are really enjoying her visit.

Those ordinary days are SO necessary sometimes! I'm glad y'all got some good cleaning done, although the dethroning on WOW doesn't sound so good.

I want to try that game sometime. Is it a lot of fun?

I knew I liked you for a reason.... we are both WOW widows! I swear on everything Holy that both his son and his wife matter less to my hubby than that damn game :) I had to read your post out loud to him, because obviously pulling his eyes away from the screen for even the slightest sec. would end is utter defeat..... and well that just won't happen. In fact this whole weekend we've all be throwing up and pretty much on our death beds and today I shit you not, I hear him crying about not getting his quests done in time to get credit for them like he normally would!!! The nerve!!

What I wouldn't give for a weekend of the ordinary right about now. Course our ideas about ordinary are different. Thank goodness none of us are into WOW, I just couldn't fathom the ammount of time it would take.

Have a great -and ordinary- day!

My BFF has the Curve and she is not impressed with it. It broke after she had had it a month and she had to have it replaced.

I was going to ask what the Blackberry Curve was...'cause I was hoping it was some tasty dessert.

From your comments, I see it's a phone. Eh. Not what floats my boat. Sorry!
